Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on Friday urged residents of countries hosting US forces to stay “at least 500 meters” away from buildings it claimed were being used as “covert accommodation by US troops.”
In a statement, the IRGC alleged that US officers and military personnel “had left their bases and moved into buildings in urban areas to direct military operations.”

Here in Scotland, Sarah Morse, a Catholic teacher, was dismissed from her job at Arbroath High School for simply answering her pupils’ questions about abortion.
Sarah made no attempt to influence her students; therefore, her actions were not illegal.
CitizenGO has been working with SPUC to campaign in solidarity with Sarah, asking Angus Council to acknowledge their error in dismissing Sarah.
Together, we are also asking that this never happen again to any teacher in Scotland.
Michael Robinson, Executive Director at SPUC, told media outlets: “The dismissal of a teacher for respectfully answering a student’s question truthfully according to her conscience is a grave matter.”
He is correct: it is grave because if we do not act now to protect teachers' basic rights in the workplace, the precedent will have significant consequences in the future.
Express your opinion honestly, without seeking to influence anyone and state it's okay to disagree, and you will be sacked, shamed and intimidated on the same day.
I cannot imagine what Sarah must have gone through when her livelihood had been taken away from her without justification.
Alison, please send a message in support of Sarah on our petition page.
When you sign and send a custom message, your support will serve as a beacon of hope in these dreadful circumstances.
I will never stop fighting for the right to freedom of expression,
Yours faithfully,
Tobias Bailey
P.S. Sarah Morse should never have been dismissed for answering a question. Sign now.

A dangerous line was crossed in Europe earlier this month, and I need to warn you about it, because places like the UK will be next.
On Thursday, 9 July, the European Parliament brought "Chat Control" into force.
From now until at least 2028, tech giants like Google, Meta and Microsoft are permitted to scan the private messages and emails of hundreds of millions of Europeans: Gmail, Instagram direct messages, Discord, Snapchat, even Xbox chat, without a warrant, without suspicion, and without the person being monitored ever knowing.
And here's the part that should chill you most: a majority of MEPs actually voted against it. It became law anyway, through a procedural manoeuvre that meant opponents needed a supermajority just to stop it. That's how these powers arrive: not by winning the argument, but by rigging the process.
Meanwhile, the "permanent" version being negotiated behind closed doors could go further still, forcing scanning into the apps, with messages analysed on devices before they're even sent.
So, the central question is simple: should governments and corporations have the power to inspect private conversations before any crime has even been alleged?
My answer and CitizenGO's answer is a firm NO. Privacy is not evidence of wrongdoing. Confidential communication isn't a privilege granted by politicians; it's a basic safeguard of a free society. And once systems capable of scanning private messages are built, their purpose can always be expanded: today's restricted category becomes tomorrow's list of "harmful," "extreme" or "hateful" opinions.
You and I already know exactly how quickly lawful beliefs get relabelled as dangerous speech. Views held by millions of ordinary people on marriage, family, faith, parental authority, and biological reality are increasingly treated not as legitimate convictions, but as problems to be managed and suppressed. We've all seen the deplatforming, the debanking, the tribunals, the police visits over social media posts. A scanning regime that reads every private message will make the situation much worse.
You might be thinking: Well, that's Europe's problem. It isn't. It's our problem too, and I'll tell you why.
First, the scanning is being done by the same global tech companies whose platforms you and I use every single day. When Google and Meta build the machinery to read private messages for one government, that machinery exists for every government. Infrastructure built for Brussels doesn't stay in Brussels.
Second, and this is the part most people don't know, our own government is already well down this road.
Behind the language of "online safety", the Online Safety Act contains powers that allow Ofcom – a quango unanswerable to the people – to force platforms to deploy technology that scans content shared in private messages, effectively turning the phone in your hand into a surveillance tool. The Investigatory Powers Act goes further, allowing the Government to compel communications companies to build or preserve access to private data. Changes passed in 2024 can even require firms to warn the Home Office before strengthening their security in ways that might close off that access.
Piece by piece, and largely beyond public view, the UK is constructing the machinery for surveillance on an alarming scale. We are not merely following the world down this road; we are helping to lead it.
If Europe's model takes hold, the politicians and bureaucrats here who already dream of these powers will point to Brussels as the precedent, and an Australian Chat Control will be presented to us as a done deal, exactly the way it was done to Europeans this week. You and I must make that politically impossible now, before that day comes.
CitizenGO is preparing to fight this in the UK, in Australia and around the world. But we also want to hear from you.
We are ready to fight this, but we need to know whether you are ready to stand with us.

A judge in Brazil has sentenced a mother and father to prison for 50 days because they homeschool their children, accusing them of "intellectual neglect" and failing to teach them "tolerance and diversity."
The judge, despite being advised by the prosecutor in the case to acquit the family, convicted and sentenced them, making the Denardis the first to be criminally sentenced for homeschooling children.

I grew up listening to Boy George. Singing along to "Time" and "Church of the Poison Mind." I used to see him as an icon. An avantgarde rebel for queer liberation.
But then he was sentenced to 15 months in prison for imprisoning Audun Carlsen, a Norwegian model and escort. For handcuffing him to a wall and beating him with a metal chain. And I saw who he was.
So, it isn’t very surprising that he has come out in support of a genocidal regime. The truth is, he has always been this awful.
20 years ago, I was in a restaurant in London when Boy George came in with his entourage. They sat at a table in the back. Young men came in, one after the other, to his table with backpacks. Then they would leave without even sitting down. The implication being that he was purchasing illicit drugs. And while I have absolutely no problem with drug use, it provided me another snapshot of the man. How he used people. How these young men were merely vehicles for his immediate pleasure. Easily discardable.
Boy George is now under fire again following the release of his new song “We will dance again." It begins:
“You say genocide, I say war
When you’re attacked, that’s what the army’s for
Does it get ugly? You bet it does

Whats on my mind?
Karma Chameleon is on my mind.
""I'm a man without conviction.... I'm a man who doesn't know... How to sell a contradiction"
Boy George (aka George O'Dowd) is a case study in contradiction, a man whose public alter ego oscillates between quasi-religious spiritual cross play and open Zionism, with a criminal record for false imprisonment thrown in for the icing on the turd cake.
The Star of David tattoo sits on the top of his head alongside a Christian cross and a lotus flower. He's described it as "quasi religious" and "kind of like all the religions," while claiming identifying as a practicing Buddhist and using pronouns boy oh boy Im a right twat.
He's not Jewish and was raised Irish Catholic.
The ink is essentially spiritual tourism, a mix-and-match of world faith symbols worn as decoration rather than genuine commitment.
"I'm a man without conviction.... I'm a man who doesn't know... How to sell a contradiction"
However even thats a now a lie as he has a conviction was for false imprisonment of a Norwegian male escort, Audun Carlsen.
George handcuffed the man to a wall in his London flat and beat him, claiming the escort had stolen photos from his laptop.
Yeah, yeah.
Didnt Starmer just try that one, after three escourts buggared his back door in some failed arse on attempt?
The judge called it "gratuitous violence" and "premeditated, callous and humiliating."
RRefeering to Boy Oh Boy Im a twat George here, not Starmer.
He (BOBIT) got 15 months which I doubt he did solitary.
He also had a prior community service sentence in New York for falsely reporting a buggary... I mean a burglary that was buggared by false claims. This is gettimg confusing, almost starmered.
His current ode to Satan, AKA "Od Nirkod (We Will Dance Again)" was just released in July 2026 and is straightforward Zionist propaganda set to a reggae-pop beat.
Easily forgiven hes been influenced by the recent anti-war lego AI hits out of Irans anti western propaganda machine.
His opening lyrics: "You say genocide, I say war / When you're attacked, that's what the army's for."
He dismisses pro-Palestine musicians as "mouthing like sheep" driven by "propaganda fuelled by the internet." The title borrows a phrase Israeli propaganda uses to reframe the October 7 festival attack.. which any thinking person knows was an inside job
BOBIT treats sacred symbols as fashion accessories and moral positions as loyalty gestures toward his social circle. He's said he supports Israel because he has Jewish friends and won't "turn his back on them." That's the depth of the geopolitical analysis: personal loyalty over principle, tribal signaling dressed up as conviction.
And BOBIT is still at it. Denying his conviction on X as 'its completely untrue.
Hed have been better off posting his own penned lyrics.
""I'm a man without conviction.... I'm a man who doesn't know... How to sell a contradiction... a man without a.soul..(I'll add these lines) Im a man who doesnt know... genocide and war crimes... my karma karma is coming to me soon..."
Maybe Im being cruel? Just enraged at a fat slob mocking the genocide of innocent skinny kids?
But lets end on what BOBIT himself said about his song. (Ill let you work out which of the two songs he was referring to.)
QUOTE: " ..The song is about the terrible fear of alienation that people have, the fear of standing up for one thing. It's about trying to suck up to everybody...Basically, if you aren’t true, if you don’t act like you feel, then you get Karma-justice. That’s nature’s way of paying you back...."
