RT @NSTRIKE1231: BREAKING | 🇷🇺🇺🇦‼️ All three of Kyiv’s major combined heat and power plants have stopped generating electricity following repeated Russian attacks, leaving the Ukrainian capital dependent on electricity supplied from other regions.

Kyiv’s CHP-5, CHP-6 and Darnytsia thermal power plants previously had a combined electricity generation capacity of up to 1.3 gigawatts. None is currently producing electricity, forcing the capital to rely on Ukraine’s interconnected power grid. All three facilities were targeted again during Russian strikes on the night of October 14. Meanwhile, critical components of the wider transmission network have faced sustained attacks for more than a month, resulting in equipment damage and additional pressure on electricity supplies.

🔥 Russia’s continued strikes on Kyiv’s energy infrastructure are increasing the capital’s dependence on electricity transmission from other regions. With local generation offline and key elements of the national grid repeatedly targeted, maintaining reliable power supplies becomes increasingly difficult. The situation underscores the importance of protecting Ukraine’s energy infrastructure and restoring damaged generation capacity before further attacks place additional strain on the system.

The Nimitz class aircraft carrier has returned to operating in the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM)/U.S. Navy's Fifth Fleet area of operations after a port visit to Phuket, Thailand, the first of its deployment. Bush left Norfolk on March 31 and spent roughly six months supporting U.S. operations in the Middle East before the stop. It arrived in Phuket October 4th with the destroyer USS Delbert D. Black and about 4,800 personnel aboard.
