U.S. Ambassador to Turkey Tom Barrack says Iran is “not an evil regime,” describing the Twelver Shia theocracy established in 1979 as a religious system deserving respect.

“That’s a religious content and practice that we all respect.”

Barrack instead singled out the IRGC, saying it “has become an adversary” and that its confrontation with Israel “has been a problem.”

BREAKING | 🇬🇧🇸🇦🇾🇪‼️‼️ Britain is reportedly deploying Royal Air Force Typhoon fighter jets to help defend Saudi Arabia against Houthi aerial attacks, marking a significant expansion of British military involvement in the kingdom’s security.

According to a report attributed to Bloomberg, British Prime Minister Andy Burnham has instructed the Royal Air Force to conduct defensive missions over Saudi Arabia. British Typhoon fighters are expected to help protect Saudi cities and critical infrastructure against potential drone and missile attacks. The precise scale, deployment schedule, and operational arrangements have not been independently verified.

The involvement of British fighter jets would significantly reinforce Saudi Arabia’s defensive capabilities while deepening military coordination between London and Riyadh. Protecting major population centers, energy facilities, and other strategic infrastructure could reduce the effectiveness of Houthi aerial operations. The move also signals a potentially broader international effort to strengthen Saudi air defenses amid growing regional security concerns.

BIG | 🇪🇺🇺🇦🇺🇸‼️‼️ EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas has accused American negotiators of spending nearly two years trying to pressure Ukraine into capitulation, arguing that European support has prevented Kyiv from being forced to accept Vladimir Putin’s terms.

According to Kallas, US negotiators have repeatedly sought an agreement that would require Ukraine to make unacceptable concessions to Russia. She argued that Ukraine’s continued refusal to surrender to Moscow’s demands has been possible because of sustained European assistance. Her remarks highlight growing disagreements over the terms of a potential peace settlement and the pressure being placed on Kyiv during diplomatic negotiations.

Kallas’s statement underscores Europe’s increasingly important role in sustaining Ukraine’s military resistance and diplomatic position. Continued European financial, military, and political assistance gives Kyiv greater capacity to reject settlement terms that could compromise its sovereignty and long-term security. The central strategic challenge remains securing an agreement that ends Russia’s aggression without leaving Ukraine vulnerable to renewed attacks.

Libya's eastern parliament, the rival of the Tripoli based government in the west, has ratified the maritime border agreement with Turkey. The approval gives Ankara the ability to veto maritime projects, including power grid links and undersea cables connecting Israel with Cyprus and Greece.

BIG | 🇷🇸🇪🇺‼️‼️ Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has warned that World War III is inevitable, pointing to Europe’s accelerating military buildup and preparations for a potential large-scale conflict.

According to Vučić, European countries are rapidly expanding their military capabilities and allocating enormous financial resources to weapons, defense systems, and military readiness. He argued that the scale of Europe’s rearmament reflects preparations for a much broader confrontation. His warning represents his assessment of the international security situation, rather than evidence that a global war is certain.

Europe’s growing defense investments reflect mounting concerns about long-term security threats, particularly Russia’s war against Ukraine and the possibility of further instability on NATO’s eastern flank. However, military expansion does not necessarily mean that governments intend to enter a major war. Strengthening defensive capabilities can also serve as a deterrent, raising the potential costs of aggression and reducing the likelihood of direct confrontation.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio:

🗣 "I saw somebody associated with the Ukrainian government say that people in Ukraine are dying because the US is denying them information. That's scandalous, that's outrageous, that's just simply not true, that's not accurate. Now that there was a problem identifying, that perhaps it was an internal issue in terms of them being able to take the information that was being provided and systemize it and react to it - that's possible. We're looking at it. Our understanding is that to the extent that happened on the 13th and on the 18th it was a technical matter. It was not the result of any sort of US directive not to provide advanced warning of a strike. And we are providing the same warnings to them now that we always have."

BIG | 🇮🇷🇺🇸‼️‼️ Iran is reportedly prolonging negotiations with the United States ahead of November’s midterm elections, as President Donald Trump faces mounting domestic political pressure and elevated global oil prices.

According to a report attributed to Reuters, Tehran is deliberately slowing negotiations in an effort to influence the political environment surrounding the US elections. A Reuters/Ipsos poll reportedly places Trump’s approval rating at 31%, its lowest level of his second presidency. Meanwhile, Brent crude oil is reported to have climbed to $111.50 per barrel. The alleged Iranian strategy remains an attributed assessment rather than an independently established motive.

Prolonged negotiations could increase pressure on Washington by extending uncertainty over regional security and energy supplies. Sustained high oil prices may also intensify domestic economic concerns ahead of the midterms. Tehran could view these conditions as diplomatic leverage, although the extent to which negotiations influence American voters or US policy remains uncertain.

RT @JenGriffinFNC: Per @Liz_Friden The U.S. is sending the USS Theodore Roosevelt carrier strike group and the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit to the Middle East, two U.S. officials confirm to Fox News. The ships will arrive in the Middle East by the end of November, the officials said. These new deployments will add about 10,000 Sailors and Marines to the Middle East.

The USS Roosevelt will be the third aircraft carrier in the Middle East, joining the USS George H.W. Bush which arrived to the region in April, and the USS George Washington which arrived in mid-August to replace the USS Abraham Lincoln. This will provide more options for the U.S. as President Trump is reportedly considering ramping up strikes on Iran after the Midterms.

The USS Roosevelt departed its home port of San Diego on Sunday and the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit deployed from San Diego on Monday along with the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group. The Marine Expeditionary Unit and Amphibious Ready Group typically include about 4,200 Marines and Sailors. The USS Roosevelt carrier strike group includes about 6,000 Sailors.
