Undercover Israeli forces moved on a taxi in Bethlehem and arrested the driver, a 48-year-old Palestinian, within seconds.

He is suspected of transferring funds for terrorism and of working to rebuild Islamic Jihad's terrorist infrastructure. The operation was carried out by officers of the Gideonim unit. https://x.com/ArutzSheva_En/status/2112882753431883949/video/1

WSJ Report: Moscow sent Berlin a back channel warning that the failed August attack on Leipzig-Halle Airport would not be the last.

Advisers to German Chancellor Friedrich Merz considered invoking NATO's Article 5 over the Leipzig attack, and would have pushed for it had the casualty toll been high, the Wall Street Journal reports.

Russian Sukhoi Su-30SM fighter jet crashed near the town of Chernyakhovsk located in Russia's Kaliningrad Oblast on Wednesday afternoon.

According to reports, the two crew-members managed to eject before the plane impacted the ground. They were later transferred to a medical facility with some wounds.

Presumably, the airframe belonged to the 4th Guards Naval Assault Aviation Regiment of the Baltic Fleet, with home-base at the nearby Chernyakhovsk Air Base.

Middle East oil flows averaged more than 24 million barrels per day (BPD) in the week through October 18th, above the prewar average of 23.3 million BPD, according to Kpler ship tracking data reported by The Wall Street Journal.

To accomplish this, tankers load inside the Persian Gulf and run through the Strait of Hormuz, often with their automatic identification system (AIS) off and under U.S. air cover along Oman’s coast, then transfer cargo to other ships near Oman before returning. That route moved about 14 million barrels a day, or 82% of prewar levels, in preliminary figures. Pipelines across Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and other alternative routes carry the rest of the regional total, or up to 10 million BPD. Kpler estimates about 40% of non Iranian Gulf crude oil bypassed the strait in September, up from 17% before the war.

The Journal counts about 30 attacks on ships this month. Brent crude was around $108 a barrel yesterday.

RT @FaytuksNetwork: The WSJ reports that the Kremlin warned Berlin through a back channel that the failed August attack on Leipzig-Halle Airport would not be the last.

RT @slantchev: Another Mearsheimer fan. Their confidence is only rivaled by how wrong they are.

German AfD Leader Alice Weidel:

There is a history of NATO's encroachment toward the Russian border. Russia emphasized this problem several times.

Why did nobody listen to Russian concerns when missile systems were being placed near its borders, especially in Romania, capable of carrying nuclear devices?

Germany’s Chancellor Merz:

My biggest concern at the moment is not our economy, is not the European Union, is not America, is not China.

My biggest concern is the impact of Russia on our society and how they are succeeding in destabilizing our societies.

For the first time, the Bundeswehr has rated the risk of Russian sabotage against its own troops and facilities as "significant," the second-highest level on its internal scale.

Behind the shift: a crashed drone carrying highly explosive material, found in mid-September just metres from an aircraft at Wunstorf airbase in Lower Saxony. BKA technical analysis indicates it may have been lying near the base for roughly two years. Investigators believe the target was military aircraft, not civilian ones.

The assessment says Moscow almost certainly has the capability and very likely a growing intent to hit German military sites and Ukrainian personnel in Germany.
