Might not be all for today.

Details likely to emerge soon. https://twitter.com/Archer83Able/status/2112947563368194258/photo/1

Russian Sukhoi Su-30SM fighter jet crashed near the town of Chernyakhovsk located in Russia's Kaliningrad Oblast on Wednesday afternoon.

According to reports, the two crew-members managed to eject before the plane impacted the ground. They were later transferred to a medical facility with some wounds.

Presumably, the airframe belonged to the 4th Guards Naval Assault Aviation Regiment of the Baltic Fleet, with home-base at the nearby Chernyakhovsk Air Base.

The IDF announced that two operatives were killed in separate strikes in Gaza City on Monday: Abdullah Munir Mahmoud Harz, a deputy platoon commander in Islamic Jihad's rocket array, and Muhammad Wael Mustafa Sha'sha'a, a sniper in Hamas's Daraj-Tuffah Battalion. According to the military, both had been working to advance attacks on troops and Israeli civilians and to rebuild the capabilities of the two groups in violation of the ceasefire. https://x.com/idfonline/status/2112948597792571742/video/1

RT @NSTRIKE1231: BIG | 🇺🇸‼️ A group of current and former senior U.S. national security and Pentagon officials is quietly preparing for the possibility that President Donald Trump could attempt to interfere in the November 3 midterm elections, according to The Washington Post.

The group, reportedly consisting of around 10 officials, has been advising state authorities and members of Congress on how to respond to potential interference by the Trump administration. Among the scenarios being discussed are the deployment of military personnel or immigration agents to polling locations and attempts to challenge or overturn election results using allegations of widespread fraud.

According to the report, concerns about these possibilities extend beyond one political party, with both Republican and Democratic lawmakers sharing fears about potential interference. The preparations are precautionary, and the scenarios described have not been established as decisions or plans by the administration.

RT @NSTRIKE1231: BIG | 🇷🇸🇺🇦‼️ Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has defended Volodymyr Zelensky’s refusal to surrender the Donbas, urging critics to consider the impossible position the Ukrainian president would face if he agreed to withdraw.

“What do you think Zelensky should have done? How could he come out and say, ‘Guys, you have fought. Now we surrender, give up the Donbas and withdraw’? You have to put yourself in his position and imagine it,” Vučić said.

🔥 Vučić’s remarks are particularly notable given Serbia’s traditionally close ties with Russia. His argument goes to the heart of the territorial dispute. Ukrainian soldiers have spent years defending the Donbas against Russia’s invasion, and asking Kyiv to abandon those positions through diplomatic pressure would carry enormous military and political consequences. Even leaders who maintain relations with Moscow can recognize why Zelensky cannot simply agree to surrender Ukrainian territory.

RT @NSTRIKE1231: BIG | 🇺🇦🇺🇸‼️ President Volodymyr Zelensky has delivered a clear message to Americans on Fox News. Ukraine will not abandon its territory or withdraw its forces simply because Russia demands it.

“Russians are not winning on the battlefield. That is why they want to use every possible form of pressure to force us off our own land. This is unfair. We cannot abandon our country, our homes. This is our children’s future. That is why we say we will stay where we stand,” Zelensky said.

The Ukrainian president also expressed support for diplomacy and the ceasefire proposed by Donald Trump.

“Let’s move to diplomacy. The ceasefire proposed by the President of the United States is an excellent idea,” he said, stressing that Ukraine needs peace to bring home the 9.5 million people he said have been displaced and are living abroad, allowing them to rebuild their lives and their country.

🔥 Zelensky is drawing a distinction between accepting a ceasefire and surrendering Ukrainian territory. Kyiv is willing to pursue diplomacy, but it is not prepared to reward Russia’s invasion by withdrawing from land its troops continue to defend. Any American peace initiative that pressures Ukraine into territorial concessions risks giving Moscow through negotiations what it has failed to secure on the battlefield.

US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth arrived unannounced at Ovda Airbase yesterday to visit American soldiers stationed in Israel. Netanyahu and Defense Minister Katz joined him. The meeting ran about an hour and a half and wrapped around 21:00.

Iran was the central issue. IDF Chief of Staff Zamir and other senior officers were kept out, leaving it to the political echelons alone.

A security source: "There will be no avoiding a resumption of the campaign against Iran in the future, but it appears this will not happen before Israel's elections and the US midterm elections."

No UAE representatives took part, contrary to reports.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi:

"The reality is that Iran, simply by virtue of geography, will always have unparalleled leverage over maritime traffic through the Strait of Hormuz.

Despite the hype about alternative routes, the waterway is irreplaceable for both the region and the world economy.

The good news is that Iran intends to honor its historic role as a guardian of the Strait and those who lawfully traverse it.

There is a way forward, but it can only materialize once the US administration genuinely accepts that it has no military options."
