US President Trump:

🗣 "We're negotiating with Russia right now on Ukraine. We're maybe close to a deal for the first time in a long time. We're maybe close to a deal. When you're close to a deal and you have very delicate negotiations you don't put sanctions on. And the other thing - we have decimated Iran. Russia has had very little input into Iran. They have, certainly they could have done a lot more but I'm not sure they did almost anything."

RT @WeaponScientist: I'm not looking forward to the next round of this war. Substantial escalation is likely to result in Iran attacking and severely damaging upstream refining and loading capacity in the Gulf.

All of our efforts to open Hormuz and stabilize energy markets will be for naught.

BREAKING: The US State Department is preparing to order the departure of some personnel and family members from US embassies across the Gulf, US officials tell Reuters.

RT @BrettErickson28: NEW: The US State Department Spokesman, Tommy Pigott, is DENYING the reports that U.S. Embassies across the Gulf are being evacuated.

This comes in response to a post by Reuters’ Timour Azhari.

It should be noted that AFP ALSO reported this information shortly after Timour, to include Saudi, Jordan, Bahrain, and Kuwait.

Somebody is lying, I’ll let you decide who…

This is inaccurate. The U.S. Department of State issued an ordered departure for non-emergency U.S. government employees and their family members in Saudi Arabia only.

Iranian-supported Houthis have increasingly engaged in hostilities against Saudi Arabia, including attacks on civilian airports and other critical infrastructure resulting in civilian casualties and severe travel disruptions.

The safety and security of Department personnel and their families remain our highest priority, and we will continue to take all necessary steps to protect and support them.

Iran is threatening to expand its target list in the event of another major war.

A senior Iranian security official told Fars News that if renewed fighting includes assassinations of senior officials or civilian casualties, Tehran would consider U.S. political targets, as well as the infrastructure of countries participating in the war, legitimate targets for retaliation.

RT @DefenceU: 🇺🇦🤝🇩🇰 Thank you, Denmark!

Denmark fast-tracks over 50,000 rounds of 20 mm ammunition for Ukraine's air defence.

Denmark has rapidly delivered more than 50,000 rounds of 20 mm ammunition for the onboard cannons of Ukraine's F-16 fighter jets. Ukrainian pilots use the ammunition to intercept jet-powered Shahed-type attack drones.

Denmark has donated F-16 fighter jets from its own fleet to Ukraine and, like several other countries transitioning from the F-16 to the F-35, had already provided much of its 20 mm stocks to Ukraine or sold them to partners.

When the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine requested additional ammunition, Denmark responded promptly. In agreement with a partner country, Denmark redirected part of a planned sale and donated them to Ukraine.

The ammunition has already arrived in Ukraine and is being used to protect Ukrainian cities from air attacks.

RT @AveEuropae: The Patriots for Moscow— sorry, Patriots for Europe, who were supposed to become a “significant right-wing force” in the European Parliament, welcomed former Czech Communist Party leader Kateřina Konečná into their ranks.

Her own reason for joining: her coalition’s programme overlaps most with theirs.

When “against Brussels” and “for Moscow” becomes the only ideology, left and right end up in the same group. That is not patriotism. It is the convergence of extremes around a shared contempt of a united Europe.

For Ave Europa, Europeans and their sovereignty come first, now and always.

Tensions between Egypt and Turkey are resurfacing over control of the Eastern Mediterranean.

Egypt has formally rejected Libya’s ratification of a maritime agreement with Turkey, declaring it legally invalid and warning that it reserves the right to take necessary measures to protect its maritime interests.

The disputed 2019 agreement establishes maritime boundaries between Turkey and Libya, potentially affecting competing claims over offshore energy resources.

The dispute also involves Greece and Cyprus, which have challenged Turkey’s maritime claims in the region.
