RT @bayraktar_1love: Russian military aviation blogger Fighterbomber has published a lengthy reaction to the Ukrainian Neptune missile strike on Borisoglebsk airbase that reads very much like an indirect admission that the attack had serious consequences.
He doesn’t even address Ukraine’s claims of six destroyed Su-34Ms. Instead, he focuses entirely on how to prevent such strikes in the future and hide their consequences from Ukrainian reconnaissance.
He calls for urgently relocating Russian military aircraft at least 400 km from the front line, constructing reinforced concrete shelters, and, most interestingly, immediately clearing or concealing wreckage before Ukrainian satellites can photograph it.
The entire post reads like it was written by someone who knows something very bad has happened and understands the scale of the problem.

RT @bayraktar_1love: But perhaps the most revealing part is his insistence on immediately hiding the aftermath of such strikes:
“The wreckage must be cleared before the enemy photographs it from every angle and puts it on display for the whole world. Satellite overflight schedules are available, and bulldozers can be found.”
Hopefully, we’ll soon get satellite imagery showing the aftermath of the strike on Borisoglebsk airbase, and the results won’t disappoint.

The US military has developed new strike plans that include potentially using the so-called "mother of all bombs" to target Iranian energy infrastructure and nuclear sites should President Donald Trump give the order to resume combat operations either before or after the midterm elections, according to multiple US officials familiar with the matter. https://cnn.it/4zwhxUu - CNNtweet

Last night, Ukrainian forces carried out a missile attack on the Borisoglebsk Air Base located in Voronezh Oblast, western Russia.
The Ukrainian Navy claimed that as a result of the strikes, 6 Russian Sukhoi Su-34M bomber were either destroyed or damaged. At this point, there's no visual evidence to support this claim, but satellite imagery of the aftermath will likely emerge soon.
The Ukrainians reportedly used domestic-produced R-360 Neptune cruise missiles for this attack.
Borisoglebsk is a home-base to the 783rd Training Aviation Center, operating Yak-130 and Su-25 aircraft. It also serves as a staging and operational base for Russian tactical aviation, including Su-34, Su-35S and Su-30SM aircraft, used in combat operations against Ukraine.

Unarmed spotters in small boats are now being used by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to identify potential targets, among them U.S. naval vessels. The shift followed the destruction of much of Iran's radar capability in American strikes, and marks one significant change in Iranian tactics.
A U.S. military official, speaking on condition of anonymity, to Reuters.

Spanish-flagged ships would pay $200,000 every time they arrive at a U.S. port under a new Federal Maritime Commission proposal. Restrictions on five categories of Spanish imports are also on the table. Not final yet.
The move closes a nearly two-year investigation. The FMC concluded that Spain created unfavorable shipping conditions by denying port and docking access to U.S.-flagged vessels beginning in late 2024, specifically Maersk ships enrolled in the U.S. Maritime Security Program.

It was reported in the U.S. media that FBI Director Kash Patel had allegedly arrived in Russia to take part in a planned meeting, but the purpose of his visit remained unknown. The FBI soon denied that such a trip had taken place. According to MS NOW, the trip was set to last two days and involved visiting Moscow and St. Petersburg. The FBI did not immediately comment on the media request, while the network’s sources in the U.S. law enforcement agency said they did not know what Patel was supposedly doing in Russia. - WarTranslatedtweet
