Last night, Ukrainian forces carried out a missile attack on the Borisoglebsk Air Base located in Voronezh Oblast, western Russia.
The Ukrainian Navy claimed that as a result of the strikes, 6 Russian Sukhoi Su-34M bomber were either destroyed or damaged. At this point, there's no visual evidence to support this claim, but satellite imagery of the aftermath will likely emerge soon.
The Ukrainians reportedly used domestic-produced R-360 Neptune cruise missiles for this attack.
Borisoglebsk is a home-base to the 783rd Training Aviation Center, operating Yak-130 and Su-25 aircraft. It also serves as a staging and operational base for Russian tactical aviation, including Su-34, Su-35S and Su-30SM aircraft, used in combat operations against Ukraine.

Unarmed spotters in small boats are now being used by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to identify potential targets, among them U.S. naval vessels. The shift followed the destruction of much of Iran's radar capability in American strikes, and marks one significant change in Iranian tactics.

Spanish-flagged ships would pay $200,000 every time they arrive at a U.S. port under a new Federal Maritime Commission proposal. Restrictions on five categories of Spanish imports are also on the table. Not final yet.
The move closes a nearly two-year investigation. The FMC concluded that Spain created unfavorable shipping conditions by denying port and docking access to U.S.-flagged vessels beginning in late 2024, specifically Maersk ships enrolled in the U.S. Maritime Security Program.

It was reported in the U.S. media that FBI Director Kash Patel had allegedly arrived in Russia to take part in a planned meeting, but the purpose of his visit remained unknown. The FBI soon denied that such a trip had taken place. According to MS NOW, the trip was set to last two days and involved visiting Moscow and St. Petersburg. The FBI did not immediately comment on the media request, while the network’s sources in the U.S. law enforcement agency said they did not know what Patel was supposedly doing in Russia. - WarTranslatedtweet

Hezbollah MP Hassan Fadlallah says that immediately after the explosives truck was seized in the Beqaa Valley, Hezbollah's military wing contacted Lebanese security and judicial authorities, told them the truck and its cargo belonged to the group, and demanded the release of the detainees and the return of the vehicle and its contents. He described the cargo as capabilities used by the military wing against what he called the Israeli occupation of southern Lebanon.
Separately, Interior Minister Ahmed Al-Hajjar says he notified the Prosecutor General that Lebanese Army Intelligence, the Information Branch and the Internal Security Forces have been tasked with widening the probe into the truck's origin, destination and purpose, and into who is behind the men arrested with it.
Kann news.

A truck loaded with roughly 800 kg of explosive material, nails and metal balls was confiscated yesterday by Lebanese security mechanisms while moving from the Baalbek area to Beirut.
The two men driving it are Hezbollah members. In interrogation they said a Hezbollah senior named Sayed Sajad asked them to bring the cargo to another senior in the organization who is staying in Dahiyeh.
Security mechanisms are now working to identify the other Hezbollah members tied to the shipment. All of this is unfolding while negotiations are underway.

RT @JimmySecUK: The Ukrainian Navy claim to have destroyed 6 Russian Sukhoi Su-34M fighter bombers in a “Neptun” cruise missile strike on a Russian airfield in Borisoglebsk, Voronezh Oblast.
If confirmed, it would be the largest single loss of the type since the beginning of the war. https://twitter.com/JimmySecUK/status/2110646486459420939/photo/1

The US military has developed new strike plans that include potentially using the so-called "mother of all bombs" to target Iranian energy infrastructure and nuclear sites should President Donald Trump give the order to resume combat operations either before or after the midterm elections, according to multiple US officials familiar with the matter. https://cnn.it/4zwhxUu - CNNtweet

Bless @jahimes for the blunt reality check to those in Europe who might still need it.

I said to Trump that we can do it very quickly. If you will not close Starlink for us, if you will open Starlink on the territory of Russia, we will destroy his ballistic launchers, and that's it for him.
He will sit and speak, and I will not destroy any energy facilities. I don't need it.
Give us Starlink. Open it for us. But they closed it. They didn't make it wider. They made it smaller.
It's a very serious mistake.
