A report claiming the Trump administration wants a Netanyahu and Eisenkot unity government is false, per the U.S. ambassador to Israel.
Report: A Likud and Gadi Eisenkot unity government is what the Trump administration is reportedly pushing for in Israel, with Netanyahu remaining prime minister for up to two years before retiring from politics.
The coalition's stated goals: ending the regional wars and securing peace agreements, Saudi Arabia above all.
Eisenkot's bloc would demand Netanyahu's retirement be guaranteed, the judicial reforms reversed, and an inquiry opened into October 7.

🚫 CLAIM: The IRGC has continued to falsely claim control of the Strait of Hormuz.
✅ FACT: The United States and regional partners control the strait as commercial vessels continue to transit despite unwarranted IRGC aggression.
🚫 CLAIM: Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed a Singapore-flagged container ship struck a naval mine in the Strait of Hormuz on Wednesday. This is FALSE.
✅ FACT: The civilian container ship M/V GFS Pride was hit by an IRGC projectile. The vessel sank while being towed to shore. Despite the attack, commercial ships continue to flow through the Strait of Hormuz (whose primary routes remain clear of mines), with more than 40 ships moving in the last 24 hours.

Al-Sisi recounted today that Netanyahu once asked him why Egypt was arming itself.
His answer: "I never saw Israel's power as a threat to me and I suppose you should also treat us that way, meaning that Egypt's power is not a threat to you."
"We live in an unstable region and need to remain strong in order to maintain the peace we maintain not only with Israel but with the entire region."
The Egyptian president also said that in every meeting with Netanyahu since 2014, he argued a Palestinian state would benefit everyone and bring lasting peace and regional stability.

The official line is they want the numbers to be accurate. What a convenient time to suddenly care about that.
