In the Ukrainian city of Sumy this morning, a Russian glide bomb hit an apartment building, failed to detonate, bounced off the building's facade, and landed in a reservoir.

Somehow, no one was injured. https://twitter.com/Osinttechnical/status/2111400140753764837/video/1

RT @CaitlinDoornbos: “Ukrainian blood.” That’s how people here in Kyiv describe filling American tanks with Russian diesel.

Now President Trump has waived sweeping new sanctions, too — giving Moscow another reprieve while its missiles keep coming. My latest from Ukraine.

It could have been bombed…. So they are very lucky

It's absolute hell at Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport. All terminals are packed with stranded passengers

People are sleeping in the most unexpected places — in cafés and children's play areas, making makeshift beds on the floor and trying to get comfortable in chairs.

Passengers aren't being offered hotel rooms, and to make matters worse, food prices are outrageous. A shawarma, for example, costs almost $12.

According to preliminary reports, nearly 400 flights were delayed or cancelled in Moscow overnight.

RT @wartranslated: Russia has resumed stockpiling armored vehicles at storage bases amid a shift from armor-heavy assaults to infantry attacks, with tanks and APCs appearing at several bases and repaired vehicles turning up at others. Artillery stockpiles are growing too, including systems near the Finnish border, alongside fresh gear reaching active units.

RT @Mylovanov: Zelenskyy: Ukraine and Europe will build our own anti-ballistic system, Freya, with engineers from dozens of countries. Freya must be fast to produce and cheaper.

Ukraine will share it with all our European partners and with everyone else who needs this protection. 1/ https://twitter.com/Mylovanov/status/2111105843168985284/video/1

RT @Shelby_Wilder: I don’t usually join panels, but given the news and my presence on the ground, I was asked to weigh in. Here’s my response to a panelist who appeared to be defending Vladimir Putin amid Russia’s ongoing war against Ukraine:

“Do you want to save Ukrainian civilian lives, or would you rather hinder and kneecap what’s supposed to be your ally in its fight for survival against Russia? That’s simply what it comes down to now.”

Burned out storage tanks at an oil terminal in Rostov. https://twitter.com/wartranslated/status/2111407548863504750/photo/1

It is reported that a fire broke out overnight in Balakovo, Saratov Region, Russia. Monitoring channels write that the target of the attack was the industrial zone of the "MZ Balakovo" metallurgical plant and the region's energy infrastructure. Sberbank's Mega Data Center, designed to support Sberbank's IT infrastructure, may also have been targeted in the city. Meanwhile, in Rostov, another tank exploded at the oil loading terminal of the Novoshakhtinsk plant.

Zelensky says the easing of sanctions will keep going, calling the diesel deal just a first step. He argues this won't stop Putin, who instead feels emboldened by such support, and it certainly won't end the war.

RT @NSTRIKE1231: BREAKING | 🇺🇸🇷🇺🇺🇦‼️ Donald Trump has signed the Lindsey Graham sanctions legislation targeting Russia but simultaneously suspended its implementation indefinitely, leaving sweeping new economic penalties against Moscow unenforced.

Under the legislation, Trump was required to authorize the sanctions by October 18. However, after signing the measure, he invoked a national-interest waiver allowing their implementation to be postponed. In a separate Friday order, the president stated that he was suspending the sanctions, restrictions and tariffs provided for under the legislation, informing Congress that the delay served U.S. national interests. The suspended measures include tariffs of up to 500% on Russian goods and 100% on imports from countries heavily purchasing Russian oil and gas or facilitating sanctions evasion. The restrictions will remain on hold unless the administration decides to activate them. The move follows Trump’s earlier decision to lift restrictions on Russian diesel purchases after speaking with Vladimir Putin. Russian officials welcomed the latest decision, while lawmakers from both American parties criticized it.

🔥 The distinction is crucial: Trump has not repealed the sanctions law, but his decision prevents its economic penalties from taking effect. By delaying measures targeting Russian energy revenues and the countries sustaining them, Washington is withholding a potentially powerful instrument of pressure on Moscow. The immediate consequence is that Russia avoids additional U.S. economic restrictions at a time when its war against Ukraine continues.

RT @KroumBalabanov: @BiankaB12 @Felix_Nuno At this stage it doesn’t really matter whether he’s a Russian asset, whether he is consumed by greed or completely immoral. Or just a useful idiot given his ignorance. Maybe it’s a confluence of motives. He acts in Russia’s interests. Not American, European, Ukrainian or Western.
