This is definitely an important read

Regime Change in Iran Will Not Solve all of Israel’s Strategic Problems

Even the collapse of the Islamic Republic would neither resolve Israel’s fundamental security challenges nor automatically pave the way for normalization with the Arab world. Suggesting otherwise reflects a profound misunderstanding of the region’s political and strategic realities.

Let us assume, for the sake of argument, that the Iranian regime collapses tomorrow. Would that lead to the lifting of international sanctions imposed in response to Israeli policies in the West Bank? Would Hamas suddenly surrender? Would Hezbollah disappear? Even the so-called Axis of Resistance, while undoubtedly weakened, would not simply cease to exist. And is Israel really prepared to occupy Lebanon in an attempt to eliminate Hezbollah once and for all?

There is no question that the collapse of the Islamic Republic could significantly improve Israel’s strategic environment. Iran is a major source of regional instability, and weakening its ability to project power would be a substantial achievement. But a more favorable strategic environment is not the same as a solution to Israel’s fundamental security challenges.

More importantly, this argument reflects a much broader strategic misconception that has shaped Israeli policy for decades: the belief that Israel can bypass the Palestinian question by focusing on shared threats, particularly Iran, and that common security interests will eventually translate into normalization with Arab states.

The latest war should have exposed the limitations of this approach. Israel is increasingly perceived by several regional governments as a destabilizing actor in its own right, even as those same governments remain deeply concerned about Iran's behavior and regional ambitions. From their perspective, Israel's efforts to encourage Washington to launch another military campaign against Iran threatened their own security, economic stability, and strategic interests.

This is not to suggest that Arab governments suddenly regard Iran as a benign actor. Far from it. Rather, opposition to Iran does not automatically translate into support for Israeli policies, let alone a willingness to normalize relations while the Palestinian issue remains unresolved.

The assumption that removing the Iranian threat would somehow eliminate the political obstacles to normalization is therefore fundamentally flawed.

Indeed, Israel's persistent attempts to circumvent the Palestinian question have contributed to one of the most serious crises of international legitimacy it has faced since its establishment. The developments in the West Bank over the past two days alone should serve as a reminder that Israel's challenges extend far beyond Tehran.

Ultimately, Iran is a major strategic challenge for Israel, but it is neither Israel's only challenge nor an exclusively Israeli problem. The Palestinian question, Israel's relations with its immediate neighbors, and its deteriorating international standing will remain central to its national security regardless of who governs Tehran.

Regime change in Iran might improve Israel's strategic position. It will not substitute for a coherent Israeli strategy toward the Palestinians, the Arab world, or the broader region.

Confusing the two is precisely the kind of strategic thinking that has brought Israel to its current predicament.

RT @Teoyaomiquu: I know it's incredibly long read. But as someone involved in a tech sector specifically working with the products that will suffer from this, I want you to please read my article below

America went much further than that with its recent Starshield/Starlink restrictions on Ukraine. Let me explain the effects.

Starlink is a technology that provides critical communication service to government and civilian sector, I repeat the service is critical.

So what happened, and why it matters?

Someone wanted a 2 cent lower diesel prices before the midterms, or was promised something by putin in exchange for this, maybe he just had a bad mood.

Many say Ukraine is not an ally, so the USA can just do whatever it wants, however the service that was crippled by American political leadership or at their silent approval is sold to Germany and Poland, which are part of NATO and are in critical interests of these countries to keep Ukrainian operations running, you may argue, but it's official position by the elected political leadership of these states.

Many say it's a blow to the starlink, others that it's a blow to American military industries.

I think it's much wider, it's a significant in blow to the American tech and industrial sector which has been driving Americans economy for the past decades.

I am a cloud infrastructure engineer developing on premise, hybrid and sovereign solutions. This cloud infrastructure hosts data services used in production facilities, telecom, AI, mining industries and energy sector. Essentially all critical services to a functioning state.

Right now everything is run via remote control planes. Here are more concrete 3 example in the thread below:

RT @ChristopherJM: “I’m not sure Zelenskyy knows what he’s talking about,” Rubio says when asked about the reason for Ukraine’s Starlink and Starshield systems being throttled. He says Ukraine wants access to Starshield but doesn’t yet. In fact, Ukraine has had access to and contracts for Starshield since 2024. So it seems the Ukrainian president is not the one who doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

It’s been a week and Ukraine still has no answers from the Trump admin nor SpaceX about why the Starlink and Starshield systems have been restricted and who ordered the speed limits. The White House and SpaceX each claim it’s the other who’s responsible. Rubio says nobody in the US is responsible.

RT @JimmySecUK: The strategy now seems to be denying that Ukraine was ever given Starshield access at all - a flagrant lie - which would mean that all Starshield terminals in Ukraine are actually running on Starlink, which would allow SpaceX to modify their usage in any way they want.

RT @IlvesToomas: It's not just about armaments.

Europe needs immediately to accelerate its own Low Earth Satellite Communication System so not to depend on the whims of Musk and Trump.

What if Europe is attacked and those two decide they'd get more money from Russia and shut down Starshield?

Restrictions on Ukraine's Starshield systems remain, and Rubio
confirmed that it's not currently available in Ukraine.

Europe continues to pay the US for its use. Russia continues to kill Ukrainians.

A strong, alarming signal.

European NATO allies and European states are the single largest regional destination for American arms exports. European governments must think hard about the wartime risks these arms purchases pose—quite a boost for Buy European.

What a coincidence.

Another security incident was recorded at Leipzig/Halle Airport overnight after a section of the security fence was found damaged near three Russian Antonov cargo planes grounded under EU sanctions.

The hole was discovered around 11 p.m. Investigators suspect a vehicle may have crashed through the fence at high speed, although the circumstances remain unclear.

Police searched the grounds overnight but found no unauthorized persons or suspicious objects.

The damaged section is approximately two kilometres from the Russian aircraft. The airport’s north runway was temporarily closed, but flights continued via the south runway, with no disruption to passenger or cargo traffic.
