RT @Teoyaomiquu: “If someone says it's raining and another person says it's dry, it's not your job to quote them both. Your job is to look out the fucking window.”

Europe’s pro-Russia commentators are absolutely furious with this headline because it correctly describes what they are advocating.

Hats off to the @Telegraph here. This is a great example of that old adage in journalism:

“If someone says it's raining and another person says it's dry, it's not your job to quote them both. Your job is to look out the fucking window.”

In this interview, Mendel advocates for Ukraine to surrender territory to Russia, and surrender its sovereign right to choose its own security alliances, both of which would only escalate Russian aggression in future. She also praises the German far right for their pro-Russia position and says Ukraine is 40% responsible for being invaded.

So this is a perfectly correct headline summarising her position, but it’s no wonder the pro-Russia commentators are furious.

They still think they can be subtle when laundering pro-Russia and pro-war positions within the language of just wanting what’s best for ordinary Ukrainians. They think if they partly acknowledge that Russia is responsible for Russia’s invasion then that gives them free rein to spout pro-Russian views without challenge.

They feel smug about their ability to play this game with us all and get away with it. They are so self-entitled that they don’t expect anyone to call them out on it.

Those days should be over. Call out pro-Russia and pro-war commentators for exactly what they are advocating. It’s time we all look out the fucking window.

RT @clashreport: Italy's Defense Minister Crosetto on the U.S. limiting its support for Ukraine:

It’s a total mistake, a big mistake, because it’s fundamental support. It means denying a country every possibility of defending itself.

Peace will come when Putin is convinced there’s a stalemate, that he can’t advance.

But if he sees weakness on the Ukrainian front, and if the United States takes away resources, there is weakness.

Then he thinks he can win, so he’ll continue the war. You give him a reason to continue it, not a reason to end it.

When you weaken someone, you give an advantage to that person's enemy. In my view, that's totally wrong. Totally wrong at this moment.

RT @FirePointUA: Oh, are those the famous white nights in Saint Petersburg?

There is a major attack ongoing against targets in the Saint Petersburg area in Russia. Among several targets this oil storage has been struck. https://twitter.com/Tendar/status/2111643771783786707/photo/1

RT @FirePointUA: This happens when you break every single ceasefire and attack Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.

Russia's fuel export terminal at the port of St. Petersburg continued to burn out of control early this morning after an overnight Ukrainian drone strike. https://twitter.com/Osinttechnical/status/2111671184685461726/video/1

RT @Mpolymer: Such a phenomenal douche. Our allies fought and died next to us. I spent a butt load of time in Afghanistan (in far worse circumstances than this performative clown) and the only comment to our allies is “thank you.” That’s it. Heartfelt. Thank you. Also, he’s addressing ROTC students with this horseshit. That is just plain dangerous. Our next generation cannot be taught such BS.

Hegseth on Afghanistan:

I was a captain in Afghanistan, and we would go to the headquarters in Kabul, and there would be 50 flags at the headquarters.

It was a beautiful thing to see 50 different countries contributing to the NATO alliance and the ISAF mission there.

Except there were like maybe five that contributed. It was actually closer to one or two that, by the end, were actually involved in kinetic operations.

In fact, the ISAF patch, we would joke that it meant "I Saw Americans Fighting."

Ukrainian drones unleashed hell on St. Petersburg overnight, attacking an oil loading port, an oil depot, an Ozon logistics warehouse, and VK's data center, under a massive drone strike. A bridge was also hit. https://twitter.com/wartranslated/status/2111716294584070299/video/1

BIG | 🇭🇺🇷🇺🇺🇦‼️ Former Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán has accused Hungary’s current leadership of abandoning neutrality toward Russia and aligning the country with Ukraine in the ongoing war.

Orbán claimed that Hungary has effectively declared Russia an enemy and joined Germany, France, and the United Kingdom in supporting Ukraine against Moscow. He also accused the government of sending Hungarian money to Ukraine and drawing the country into the conflict.

His remarks reflect his opposition to Hungary’s reported shift toward a more pro-Ukrainian foreign policy. However, political support for Ukraine and financial assistance do not, by themselves, mean that Hungary has entered the war as a military participant.

Following Ukraine's overnight drone attack on oil facilities in St. Petersburg, photo 1 shows fuel storage tanks ablaze at the city's oil terminal, where anti-drone netting failed to stop the hit.

Photo 2 shows the "Ruchyi" oil depot burning nearby, a key fuel hub for the Leningrad military district, regional defense plants, and Russian military rail shipments, also used for fuel exports through Baltic ports. DroneBomber reports.
