Sources involved in the mediation told Qatar's Al-Araby Al-Jadeed that a breakthrough is expected to be announced this week, aimed at halting the escalation between Washington and Tehran. Mediators continue working to narrow the points of disagreement and push both sides toward mutual concessions that would keep the war from restarting.
Single source report, take it with caution.

French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu:
"We have a number of arrests leading to police custody, which are now resulting in a very high rate of judicial action, almost 80%.
Two-thirds are adults, almost all of them are men, and they are often people already known to the police.
So judicial proceedings will also allow us to calm things down by putting a number of individuals out of action."

Recent RSAF strikes on Mokha in southwestern Yemen appear to have targeted an oil storage facility at the port.
Yesterday’s satellite imagery shows extensive damage to one of the facility’s oil storage tanks. https://twitter.com/Osint613/status/2112145663697789032/photo/1

Ukrainian President Volodmyr Zelenskyy says Russia launched 16 ballistic missiles at Kyiv and the Kyiv region in several waves overnight, along with more than 200 drones, including jet powered Shaheds, and that Ukraine again received no early warning from its partners.
Zelenskyy said a medical clinic, a school, a metro station and residential buildings were damaged. He said Russia hit energy facilities in 11 regions, including Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa and Vinnytsia, damaging more than 10 energy sites and leaving at least 550,000 families without power.
Zelensky said Ukraine has accepted every ceasefire proposal, and that Russia’s response has been missiles and drones. He said that blocking deliveries of air defense missiles to Ukraine while Russia gets relief or delays in sanctions is “a denial of reality” by partners. He did not say which partners or which deliveries.
The attack follows a similar overnight barrage October 13th into the 14th, after President Donald J. Trump announced an “energy ceasefire” on October 11th. President Trump said October 13th that the U.S. is still sharing intelligence with Ukraine.

Another Russian ballistic missile attack came in several waves overnight, and once again, there was no early warning from our partners. They again targeted energy facilities and infrastructure, but a medical clinic, a school, a metro station, and ordinary residential buildings were also damaged. In total, the Russians launched 16 ballistic missiles in a deliberate attack on Kyiv and the Kyiv region. The Russians also launched more than 200 drones of various types, including jet-powered “shaheds,” with attacks spanning from the Kharkiv and Dnipro regions to the Volyn, Rivne, and Odesa regions. Sadly, there are casualties. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Those who were injured are receiving assistance. Overnight and this morning, Russia attacked energy facilities in the Vinnytsia, Volyn, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Kharkiv, Ternopil, Odesa, and Rivne regions. In this one night alone, more than 10 energy infrastructure facilities were damaged, and the lights went out for at least 550,000 families. Repair crews are working at the sites.
Ukraine never wanted this war, and we have welcomed literally EVERY attempt by our partners to bring this war to a dignified end. We have responded positively to EVERY ceasefire proposal. Russia's response, time and again, has been ballistic missiles, “shaheds,” and killings. Putin not only doesn't want to end this war – he doesn't even want to take any steps toward de-escalation. EVERY ONE of our partners has experienced this firsthand when they heard Russia's refusals. And it is crucial to call things what they are. To call the aggressor an aggressor and help Ukraine defend lives. When deliveries of missiles for Ukraine's air defense are blocked while Russia is granted relief or delays in sanctions, this is, unfortunately, a denial of reality on the part of our partners. The reality is that the war continues, and it continues solely because of Russian strikes and Russia's desire to drag this war out. I thank everyone who recognizes this reality and helps Ukraine! - Volodymyr Zelenskyy / Володимир Зеленськийtweet

RT @NSTRIKE1231: BIG | 🇮🇱🇺🇸🇮🇷‼️ Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has linked rising American fuel prices to the Iranian nuclear threat, arguing that Donald Trump’s approach to Tehran is essential to reducing future energy costs.
“If today’s fuel prices concern you, consider what would happen if Iran acquired nuclear weapons, something Trump and I will never allow,” Netanyahu stated.
“And when that happens, when the threat from this regime disappears, fuel prices will fall. But this will only happen under Trump. It will not happen under those who want to accommodate and appease these tyrants.”
The remarks explicitly connect U.S. domestic energy concerns with American policy toward Iran and express support for Trump’s approach ahead of the U.S. midterm elections.
🔥 Netanyahu’s argument presents confronting Iran as a route to lower energy prices, but the relationship is far from automatic. Oil prices depend on global supply, demand, shipping security and geopolitical risk. Military escalation involving Iran could itself disrupt energy supplies and increase prices, particularly if shipping through the Strait of Hormuz were affected. His claim that fuel prices would fall specifically under Trump is a political assertion rather than an established economic outcome.

Israeli FM Gideon Sa'ar responds to UK Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband:
"The obsession of the British Labour Government with Israel seemingly knows no bounds.
The days when Israel would quietly accept threats, sanctions and attempts to dictate its policies are over.
Judea and Samaria are not foreign lands to the Jewish people. Our historical rights are not subject to approval from London.
Israel will not be intimidated by threats. We will defend our rights and our national interests."
Miliband had warned that Britain created new powers to sanction individuals and companies involved in building E1, with today the deadline for bids.

UK Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband, on the deadline day for bids on Israel's E1 settlement tender:
"We have created new powers allowing us to sanction individuals and companies involved in the construction of illegal settlements such as E1."
"We urge businesses and individuals not to proceed with bids for E1 construction tenders. They should be aware of legal and reputational consequences, including the risk of involving themselves in serious breaches of international law."

Sardar Mohebi, spokesman for the IRGC, on the force's equipment capability:
Quantitatively and qualitatively, its power is now at least 1.5 times what it was. Missile, drone and other equipment production never stopped and was expanded, with gains in range, accuracy and destructive power, along with new weapons.
"In case of escalation of the war, the surprise makers of the IRGC will show themselves."

RT @NSTRIKE1231: BIG | 🇺🇦🇺🇸‼️ A new poll by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) indicates that Ukrainians remain determined to resist Russia’s invasion while supporting negotiations that preserve Ukraine’s sovereignty and security.
According to the survey:
▪️ 62% of Ukrainians are prepared to endure the war for as long as necessary.
▪️ 79% believe Ukraine will ultimately win the war, compared with just 7% who expect Russia to prevail.
▪️ 75% are open to negotiations with Russia.
▪️ 69% would support an immediate ceasefire along the current front line, provided that occupied territories are not legally recognized as Russian, Ukrainian troops are not withdrawn from the parts of Donbas they still control, and Ukraine retains the right to strengthen its military and pursue EU and NATO membership.
🔥 The findings reveal an important distinction between Ukrainians’ willingness to negotiate and their acceptance of territorial or political concessions. Support for a conditional ceasefire does not necessarily mean support for recognizing Russian annexations or abandoning Ukraine’s security ambitions. The results also provide relevant context for the debate over U.S. pressure on Kyiv: according to this survey, a substantial majority of Ukrainians favor a negotiated path only under conditions that preserve key elements of Ukrainian sovereignty.
