Ebrahim Rezaei, member of the National Security Committee in Iran's Parliament:

"The results of the elections in the Zionist regime have no effect on the savage nature of this regime, and therefore Gadi Eisenkot is no different from Netanyahu, the child killer. It is even possible that Eisenkot, in view of his dark past as the army commander of the Zionist regime, will commit more crimes against the Palestinian and Lebanese people."

The U.S. and UK sank the decommissioned frigate ex-USS Klakring (FFG 42) in the North Atlantic during Exercise Atlantic Thunder 2026, a live fire sinking exercise (SINKEX) led by US 6th Fleet, held last month.

Weapons fired at the hull:
- SM-6 from USS Paul Ignatius (DDG-117)
- Naval Strike Missile (NSM) from HMS Portland (F79)
- Naval Strike Missile from HMS Portland (F79)
- Sea Venom (Royal Navy)
- Mk 48 torpedo from USS Massachusetts (SSN-798)

U.S. and RAF P-8s and U.S. Air Force F-15Es also took part in the exercise.

Klakring was an Oliver Hazard Perry class frigate in active U.S. Navy service from 1983 to 2013. She was named for Rear Admiral Thomas Klakring, a three time Navy Cross recipient who commanded the submarine USS Guardfish in WWII.

The exercise was also the Royal Navy’s first live firing of its new ship killing missiles, NSM and Sea Venom, against a ship.

RT @Maks_NAFO_FELLA: 🇪🇺🛰️ FT: Europe’s biggest telecom operators are teaming up to challenge Starlink.

Deutsche Telekom, Orange, Telefónica and Vodafone are exploring a joint bid for EU satellite spectrum to offer direct-to-smartphone connectivity.

The initiative aims to reduce Europe’s dependence on U.S. satellite providers amid growing transatlantic tensions.

The companies would build ground infrastructure and partner with an existing satellite operator rather than launch their own satellites.

KSA and offensive….. on the same sentence….. https://twitter.com/Felix_Nuno/status/2112219982809497916/photo/1

KSA can’t maintain the facade of normalcy anymore. It has to go on the offensive.

RT @NSTRIKE1231: BIG | 🇺🇦🇺🇸🇷🇺‼️ Ukraine’s Air Force says Russia carried out two separate ballistic missile strikes overnight, with the first attack taking place at 11 PM without any advance warning from the United States.

Ukrainian Air Force spokesperson Yurii Ihnat confirmed that the second ballistic strike occurred at approximately 3 AM, four hours after the initial attack.

“There were two ballistic strikes overnight. The first was at 11 PM and the second at 3 AM. There was no warning from the United States about the first one,” Ihnat stated.

He also warned that Russian ballistic attacks can occur in successive waves, making continued vigilance essential even after an initial strike has ended.

“If Russia launches a ballistic strike at 11 PM or midnight, for example, it is entirely possible that it will repeat the attack. That is why extreme caution is necessary.”

🔥 The absence of an advance American warning about the first strike raises concerns about Ukraine’s access to timely missile-threat intelligence. Ballistic missiles leave defenders with very limited reaction time, making early detection, rapid communication and reliable air-defense coordination particularly important. Ihnat’s warning also highlights the danger of assuming that an attack has ended after the first wave.

RT @NSTRIKE1231: BIG | 🇺🇸🇺🇦‼️ Republican Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick has issued a forceful warning over restrictions on Ukraine’s access to Starshield, promising congressional investigations, public hearings and punitive funding cuts against any U.S. officials or agencies found responsible.

Fitzpatrick pledged to President Volodymyr Zelensky that anyone attempting to restrict Ukraine’s use of SpaceX’s military satellite communications system would face full accountability.

He said Congress would reaffirm Ukraine’s importance as a U.S. ally and recognize Russia as a self-declared adversary of the United States.

Fitzpatrick also called for Washington to provide Ukraine with all the defensive equipment it needs, prohibit imports of Russian oil and impose stronger sanctions on Moscow.

“Not one drop of Russian oil should be imported into the United States,” he declared, adding that the proposed measures would be brought before the House of Representatives, where he expects overwhelming support.

Invoking former President Ronald Reagan, Fitzpatrick concluded:

“Ukraine can defeat Russia, and Ukraine will defeat Russia.”

🔥 Fitzpatrick’s statement highlights significant Republican opposition to policies perceived as weakening Ukraine’s defense. His threats of congressional oversight and budgetary consequences also demonstrate how disputes over satellite communications and military assistance could develop into a broader confrontation between Congress and the Trump administration. Whether his proposals advance will depend on congressional action, but his remarks underscore the continuing debate within Washington over support for Ukraine and pressure on Russia.

• Abha airport and radar installations nearby
• The air force base at Khamis Mushait
