TikTok, YouTube and social media are the tools of a hybrid war being waged against Western countries, Italy's Defence Minister Guido Crosetto said, pointing to them as the cause of the recent riots in Milan and other parts of Italy.

By his numbers, three in ten young people took part in the demonstrations and six in ten backed them.
