I got this on sale for $42 a week ago... this morning I'm on the 7th day since a full charge and battery is at 51%.... this one is great for portable use.

Random thoughts for the day.... you have time to think when mowing.

1)How important is family? So important that you have two names... you have your own identity and you have your family name. You are both an individual AND a part of your tribe. My father in law used to insist that my wife tell people "who she belonged to" when she was a girl. Proud dads make sure kids don't ruin the name of their family.

2)When a woman gives birth ya know who the mother is.... but do we know who the father is? Do you expect him to invest his effort, love and teaching into a child that he has no attachment to? Then give the child his last name. Make the child belong to him and him to the child. How's that "I don't need no man" working out for the single moms? Are they raising moral and good young men? Are they raising daughters worthy of the commitment of a man to be a provider and parent? Children need both parents: they need mom for nurturing and they need dad for tough love. Society fails without both.

3)This will be an odd question but here goes anyway.... Black youth are out of control (and white youth are lazy and not far behind). WRT the black family.... did the KKK keep feral blacks in line or did LBJ's great society eviscerate the black family by incentivizing black dads being pushed out of the house? Many think we need lynchings to solve the plague of black crime but that's just treating the symptom. Is the root cause the lack of fathers in the house?

One more thought.... we've turned this world upside down. We've convinced a few generations of girls that they can be better / stronger / faster at the things men do best and forsaken the ONE thing they can actually do that men cant.... Girls today want a cell phone instead of a toy baby doll.

Take the cartoon above.... we measure a fish's abilty to climb a tree. Same for women today... we tell them the race is about competing with men when they could be excelling at being... gasp... mothers.

I got teh seed studio solar powered mesh node in today. See here ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KVC1-aeUAfQ ) for unboxing... I found it on Muzi website on sale last weekend for $84. The plastic case is substantial. It's got knockouts on the brackets to fit SMA and male N type connectors. I've just ordered a 5dbi gain "real" antenna with an N connector and a RP male SMA.

If you see this on sale again, I'd get it...

Admittedly I’m on a mesh network kick right now. When you can’t trust your cellphone to not spy on you…. When you need to ask your neighbor a question and don’t have fuel to drive there… when you want local news from local people…. You’ll wish you had a mesh network.
