A buddy of mine who lived in a bad part of town installed these motion lights on each corner of his house. But he didnt' connect the bulbs. He ran the switched electric line into his kitchen and had 4 small lamps in the kitchen. That let him see if someone was lurking outside. These things are CHEAP.

I did something a few months ago.... put a door peephole in the staircase going down into the basement. a 223 will shoot clean thru the kicks on the stairs and it might be nice to see out from under the little room under the stairs.
