Question: Will WCO be also mode of payment fee for L2 chain that are meant for specific financial institutions or WCO used as fees only on public chain for dapps etc?

Answer: Yes, WCO will be the fee token for the L2 chain as well, which is being designed for institutional users. However, this may change based on regulatory, technical, or business needs.

Key things to consider:
·       Some institutions might prefer alternative fee structures (e.g., fiat payments).
·       We may introduce gas abstraction to make transactions smoother.
·       The L2 revenue model could impact how WCO is used.
·       Further design decisions will be made as more details come out.

For now, WCO is planned as the fee token for both L1 (public) and L2 (institutional), but we will adjust if needed.

Question: Except for the community, what kind of real-world testing was carried out? Were there many/any issues?

Answer: Besides community testing, we conducted:
1.      Internal Testing – Checked security, gas fees, and system stability.
2.      Exchange Testing – Ensured WCO worked properly on exchanges.
3.      Penetration Testing – Simulated attacks to identify security vulnerabilities.

           Issues Faced & Fixed:

·       Optimized speed for high traffic.

We have investigated the transactions and the wallet address. The wallet addresses do not belong to the company.

Our research shows that the wallet could belong to a bot or an MM. We cannot ascertain the purpose of these transactions; however, mm bots seldom take advantage of arbitrage opportunities between exchanges. You may wish to reach out directly to the exchanges for further details on the said wallet address.

Also note, W Chain would usually not transfer tokens between exchanges unless it is for a purpose. We directly deposit or withdraw tokens to the respective exchanges.
