Be a Samaritan Public Run (Feb) - Community Suicide First respondent workshop

Suicide prevention is everyoneโ€™s business.

Join Samaritan of Singapore in their mission to shift from a culture of silence, to one of openness and empathy, through empowering the wider community to be more vigilant in keeping a look out for anyone in distress.

"Be A Samaritan" (BAS) is a 2-part programme which aims to equip the community with the knowledge and skills to be a first responder to anyone facing a suicide crisis by engaging and encouraging distressed individuals to seek help and providing them with emotional support in an empathetic manner.

-Understanding consent, the impact of sexual assault and trauma on survivors
-Role of a first responder
