Some years back the authorities repatriated a large number of Roma who were living in the Holywood area of Belfast for their own protection. A few months later they were back again but it showed what's possible.

Douggie Beattie and Unionist politicians are current lying and saying that migrants are arriving into the North via the Republic.

This is just not true. 80% of asylum seekers coming into the South are coming via Belfast where they got a ferry from an open borders crazy Britain.

This is being framed as ‘because Ireland is in the EU that’s where all the migrants are coming from’ in other to justify a hard land border.

This is a false narrative that needs to be pushed back. It is the fact there is no Sea Border with Open Borders Westminster because Unionist’s have near rioted to prevent one.

Nationalist Parties need to now come out and make the claim that only an All Island border around the Sea via a United Ireland can protect the island from mass migration especially from an increasingly decaying Yookay that is offloading their share onto us.

Also, most Roma would’ve arrived prior to Brexit, so that’s irrelevant point too.

Jim Allister on BBC Ulster this morning blaming Ireland's EU membership for Ballymena's 'demographic balance being destabilised' with Roma.

Allister claims that 'busloads' of them are being trafficked into the north after flying into Dublin.

But if that were true, why would a unionist majority town with Allister serving as their MP not have already demanded their return across the border as they would have entered the north illegally.

Dougie Beattie, who regularly reports at Dublin protests, has now concocted a similar narrative for GB News viewers.

A far more plausible explanation is the Roma (and other migrants) were existing British residents before arriving in the north from across the sea without so much as having to wave a passport.

But neither Allister nor Beattie can admit this as they both champion maintaining that migration corridor as unrestricted.

Consequently they have to hallucinate a republic shaped reason for any migration problems the north experiences.
