🚨 Persisters, the Incentivised Beta campaign for Bitcoin cross-chain swaps is now wrapped up.

Together, we crossed ~$90K in volume across BNB Chain and Base with intentionally small limits, giving us strong signals on real-world performance.

We patched bugs, stress-tested flows, and gathered solid feedback along the way. Appreciate everyone who tried it out and shared inputs.

The campaign is now temporarily paused as we review next steps.

Update on Persistence DEX on Babylon Genesis

We are deprecating the Persistence DEX deployment on Babylon Genesis.

What this means for you:
• If you have liquidity in any Babylon pool, please withdraw it at app.persistence.one/pools with the Babylon network selected.
• Swaps stay available for now, but we will no longer maintain, update or promote this deployment, so please do not add new liquidity.
• Persistence DEX on Persistence Core is not affected and continues as before.

Heads-up for Persistence DEX users holding USDC

Circle is winding down USDC on Noble, which is the USDC used across Cosmos IBC chains including Persistence. Key dates from Circle: new minting stops on 13 October 2026, CCTP burn limits start dropping on 31 October, and on 12 January 2027 the Noble USDC contract is paused, after which only a manual redemption process remains.

What this means on Persistence DEX:
• The USDC/USDT and DYDX/USDC pools will be deprecated. We will stop accepting new deposits into them shortly; swaps and withdrawals stay open so you can exit at any time.
• If you provide liquidity in either pool, please withdraw well before the January deadline. We suggest doing it in the coming weeks rather than waiting.
• If you hold Noble USDC on Persistence, migrate it while the routes are open. Skip Go (go.skip.build) supports a direct migration to Injective issued USDC, and several exchanges still accept Noble USDC deposits.
• USDT on Persistence is not affected, and neither is any other pool.

Update on the Persistence DEX USDC pools

As announced last week, new deposits into the USDC/USDT and DYDX/USDC pools are now paused. Swaps and withdrawals remain open.

If you still provide liquidity in either pool, please withdraw and migrate your Noble USDC before Circle's deadline of 12 January 2027.

Skip Go (go.skip.build) supports a direct migration to Injective issued USDC. All other pools, and USDT, are unaffected.
