न्यायालयाने राज्यघटनेच्या कलम 142 अंतर्गत असाधारण अधिकारांचा वापर केला.
वंचित गटातील प्रतिभावान विद्यार्थ्यांना असे वाऱ्यावर सोडता येणार नाही अशी सर्वोच्य न्यायालयाची भूमिका आहे.
