🌟 "Personality of the Radiant Lady, Hazrat Fatimah Zahra (SA), deeply resonates within my heart."
📰 According to Rahyafte (Comprehensive Platform for Missionaries and New Muslims):
👧 Kindly share your childhood experiences with us.
I was born in 1993 in a small town in southeastern Hungary and grew up there. The predominant religion in that region is Christianity. However, I have no memories of hearing or learning about matters related to faith, religion, or God during my childhood. Consequently, I was raised without any religious or ethical principles, and neither of my parents was particularly religious. Religion, as far as I can recall, was never an engaging topic in our home.
When did you realize the importance of religion, and what made you feel the need for a change? What motivated you to consider changing your faith?
In 2008, I found Muslim friends who questioned why I wasn't adhering to any particular religion. Although I had no immediate answer, this question intrigued me. Reflecting on the matter, I concluded that I needed faith. There had to be something to which I could belong. So, I began asking them questions about faith, Islam, and, initially, I wasn't considering becoming a Muslim, as it seemed entirely foreign to me. However, since everyone around me was Christian, I thought it wouldn't hurt to try Christianity. I even contemplated undergoing baptism at that time.
What events led to your conversion to Shia Islam?
The Muslim acquaintance I had made happened to be Shia, providing me with an opportunity to choose Shia Islam as my starting point. They shared fascinating stories about significant Shia figures, including the tragic events of Karbala. These narratives, coupled with my continued exploration of Islam, significantly impacted me. The more I read, the more connected I felt to Islam.
Despite warnings from Shia Muslims about potential misinformation on the internet, I continued my research. Although I didn't want to waste time, I needed knowledge and awareness to practice my faith. Consequently, I persisted in finding my path. While the internet confused me at times due to incorrect information, I ultimately reached my destination—the teachings of the immaculate family of the Prophet (SAW). Praise be to Allah. Believing in the rightful successors of the Prophet (SAW) was so clear and compelling that there was no room for doubt.
Who among the Ahlul Bayt (AS) has had the greatest impact on you in the history of Shia Islam?
I truly cannot choose just one person from the Ahlul Bayt (AS). Each of them, with their great personalities and extraordinary teachings, has been inspirational to me. However, the Lady of Radiance, Hazrat Fatimah Zahra (SA), holds a special place in my heart, and I aspire to be honored by their proximity, God willing.
How do you observe the month of Muharram?
In Hungary, where Shia Muslims are scarce, there are no ceremonies for me to participate in during Muharram. However, I observe Muharram by reading and reflecting on the events of Karbala.
What are your thoughts on mourning ceremonies?
Personally, I hope to one day be part of these commemorations and mournings for the Ahlul Bayt. I perceive the mourning ceremonies of Muharram as a beautiful heartbreak, and I find it necessary to share in the joys and sorrows of the blessed family. 🖤 #NewMuslimJourney #ShiaConvert #LadyFatimahZahra #MuharramReflections 🌙
