🌿 Reflection:
This verse shows Allah’s perfect justice and mercy — good deeds are multiplied tenfold (or even more for the faithful), while bad deeds are repaid only equally. Through sincere faith, patience in hardship, and acts of devotion such as fasting, the believer’s deeds shine brighter and are magnified many times over. 🌷

“Whoever brings a good deed shall receive ten times the like thereof; and whoever brings an evil deed shall be recompensed only with its like, and they shall not be wronged.” (6:160) 🌿
✨ Imam al-Ṣādiq (a.s.) explained:
“Do you know what good and evil mean here?”
Then he said, “The good deed (ḥasanah) is concealing our teachings, and the evil deed (sayyi’ah) is spreading them among those who are not worthy.”

🌸 Another narration from Imam al-Ṣādiq (a.s.):
“In the Book of Allah, ‘good deeds’ (ḥasanāt) are of two kinds and ‘evil deeds’ (sayyi’āt) are of two kinds.
The first type of good deeds are blessings such as health, security, and abundance in sustenance; while the first type of evil deeds are illness, fear, hunger, and hardship.
The second type of good deeds are the righteous actions of servants of God, as in:
‘Whoever brings a good deed shall have ten times the like thereof.’”
📚 Bihār al-Anwār, vol. 5, p. 201
💫 Imam al-Bāqir (a.s.) said:
“The believer is superior to the mere Muslim in his deeds and nearness to Allah.
For Allah multiplies the good deeds of the believer seventyfold, according to the strength of his faith.”
📚 Al-Kāfī, vol. 2, p. 26 / Tafsīr Ahl al-Bayt, vol. 4, p. 664
🌙 On fasting, Imam al-Ṣādiq (a.s.) said:
“The Prophet (PBUH) used to fast three days every month — Thursday in the first ten days, Wednesday in the middle, and Thursday in the last ten days.
Fasting these three days equals fasting for a lifetime, as Allah says:
‘Whoever brings a good deed shall have ten times the like thereof.’”
