⏳ Waiting with the Almighty: A Promise of Deliverance
📖 The Divine Dialogue: Verses 71-72 of Surah Al-A'raf
The verses present a scene of confrontation between a prophet of truth and a people lost in idolatry.
[The Prophet] said, "There has already come upon you from your Lord disgrace and wrath. Do you dispute with me concerning [mere] names you have named them, you and your fathers, for which Allah has not sent down any authority? Then wait; indeed, I am with you among those who wait." (7:71)
So We saved him and those with him by mercy from Us and We obliterated the traces of those who denied Our signs and were not believers. (7:72)

💎 The Profound Lesson: The Virtue of Waiting
From this dialogue, the Holy Ahl al-Bayt (AS) extracted a timeless principle for the faithful in every era of hardship and oppression.
Imam al-Rida (AS) was asked: "When will our relief (al-Faraj) come?"
He (AS) replied with profound wisdom: "Is not the waiting for the relief itself a form of relief?" Then, he cited Allah's words: "Then wait; indeed, I am with you among those who wait." (7:71)
(Tafsir Ahl al-Bayt, Vol. 5, p. 192)

🌟 A Deeper Guidance: Patience at the Brink of Despair
Imam al-Rida(AS) further explained the virtue of patience in anticipation:
"How excellent is patience and waiting for the relief!... Be upon patience, for indeed relief comes only after despair. Verily, those who came before you were more patient than you."
He reminds us that the state of "waiting" (Intizar) is an active, spiritual stance. It is not passive idleness, but a dynamic state of readiness, hope, and preparation. It is the fertile ground in which faith is tested and strengthened. And in this wait, we have the greatest companion—Allah Himself declares: "I am with you among those who wait."

🤲 A Reflection for Our Time:
This teaching is a direct light for those who await the ultimate relief—the reappearance of Imam al-Mahdi (AJ).
· Our waiting must be filled with awareness and righteous action.
· It is during the darkest hour, on the brink of despair, that God's mercy and deliverance manifest.
· The final victory and obliteration of falsehood is a divine promise, just as it was for the prophets of old.
So let us wait with beautiful patience, knowing our Lord waits with us, and that our relief is written with His infinite mercy.
