Sarcoma on the tongue!!
This 54-year-old man presented to the oral and maxillofacial clinic with a 2-month history of difficulty chewing his food. He reported that during the preceding 2 months, a painless brown lesion had grown on his tongue in the center of a white patch that had been present for years.
He had no history of smoking and did not drink alcohol. Examination of the oral cavity revealed a well-circumscribed hard mass, measuring 8 mm by 7 mm and surrounded by a white patch on the right side of the tongue. He had no palpable cervical lymphadenopathy.
An incisional biopsy of the lesion revealed a high-grade, undifferentiated spindle-cell sarcoma. Spindle-cell sarcoma is a rare connective-tissue tumor that can grow rapidly. The patient underwent surgery, including a hemiglossectomy, and received adjuvant chemotherapy.
At follow-up 1 year after the completion of chemotherapy, he had no evidence of recurrence and reported some mild difficulty with swallowing.

Oral malignant #melanoma: Rare- 0.26% of all oral cavity cancers worldwide (Hashemi Pour 2008). Peak age of diagnosis is between 65 and 79 years (Alawi 2013). Unfortunately associated with a very poor prognosis; 5-year survival rates range between
5% and 50% with a large cluster at 10–25% (Femiano et al. 2008). 10-year survival rate has been reported to be 0% (Hashemi Pour 2008). .

#Earlydetection is key, and all pigmented lesions should be viewed with a degree is suspicion! Do you know ABCDE? .

AFO is a rare, mixed, slow-growing, but expansive odontogenic tumor. It is usually associated with a not irrupted tooth. The radiographic appearance shows well defined radiolucent uni or multilocular lesion, containing varying levels of radiopaque material of irregular shape and size.⠀
The recommended treatment for AFO is conservative surgery. Careful enucleation of the lesion, as well as clinical and radiographic follow-up, offer an excellent prognosis.⠀

My conservative treatment approach step by step for @stained @arrested_caries for rough hypomineralized surface of an inactive caries in upper anteriors for a 4 years old child using @opalsture @micro_abrasion followed by @fluoride application for two visits and will be followed by esthetic restorations of only mesial surfaces of the two central incisors after the lesions arrest...
Lateral incisors problems have been ended totally without using handpiece or any drilling.
