Ideally there should be organisations working in each state focusing purely on the restoration and revival of ancient temples in ruins.

Reclaim the past, Rebuild for the future.

A total of 1076 ancient Hindu temples are under the jurisdiction of Archaeological Survey of India, many of which are forcefully kept in ruins by disallowing restoration.

@ASIGoI also restricts worship at many of these ancient temples.

@narendramodi govt should enable the below in the interest of Dharma and for the very people who vote for him in every election.

1. Allow restoration of temples under ASI

2. Allow Hindu devotees to worship at temples under ASI

Please share and support the demands.

Below are the number of ancient Hindu temples across the states which under the jurisdiction of Archaeological Survey of India. This would prove that central govt is also controlling major Hindu temples across Bharat via @ASIGoI, just like state govt controls Hindu temples via the HRCE Department.

Since @narendramodi has talked against govt control of Hindu temples in TamilNadu, lets hope that he will liberate these temples which are under
@ASIGoI jurisdiction and handover them to devotees.

Now there is a general consensus that all 40,000+ Hindu temples under encroachment must be reclaimed.

The focus now shifts to how this can be done, the efforts should be complete reclamation of all 40,000+ temples in the next twelve years.

ASI survey at Bhojshala temple.

The scientific survey should be replicated in other temples under Islamic occupation.

In fact the @ASIGoI should release the earlier reports and epigraphic evidences.

Narendra Modi govt still has time to issue an ordinance to repeal the Places of Worship Act.

The question is whether he will do it?

It's been ten years of inaction on a very significant issue affecting thousands of our ancestral temples.

The restoration of ancient temples in ruins is a reflection of the capability and conviction of our society to focus and act on civilisational matters.

This is easier if more and more devotees decide to contribute at least Rs 101 every month for the cause.

If Archaeological Survey of India is not able to manage the ancient Hindu temples under its supervision, they should handover the temples back to Hindu society and not corporates.
