The Bateshwar temples located in the infamous Chambal region, known for its rugged terrain and being a hideout for dacoits. For decades, archaeologists and tourists stayed away because of the lawlessness.
If efforts would have been strong enough from the ASI and the government, the restoration of the temples would have been completed by now. Yet the temple complex still remains in ruins and no regular worship being offered.
It is high time we all speak about it and raise our concerns into making these temples live again.

Based on a complaint by Moplah encroacher Kunheen, Grama Panchayat has issued a notice to UgraNarasimha Charitable Trust on the restoration of Cholakkara Durga temple in Malappuram.
Attempt is to block the revival of the ancient temple somehow.
The strategy of the other side is to make it difficult in every possible way.
We have no option but to fight and overcome all hurdles, which we have done successfully till date.

The Lalguan Mahadeva Temple, though now in a state of ruin, stands as a significant testament to the region's rich architectural and cultural heritage. Despite its historical and cultural significance, it has seen little to no conservation effort from the Archaeological Survey of India.
Its present condition reflects the urgent need for preservation and recognition of our historical monuments.
