The status of many ancient temples is very humiliating. We have been campaigning for the past ten years to revive the ancient temples lying in ruins across Bharat. There is no longer any point in blaming anyone or endlessly requesting governments to do the basic duty of protecting our Heritage, which clearly has not happened.

So we will focus on whatever we can do ourselves to protect and revive our ancient temples and restart worship.

We will also step up the #ReclaimTemples campaign so that like minded organisations and individuals can join the cause.

Your support has helped us restore many ancient temples in difficult places like Malappuram in Kerala.

We will now also focus on ancient temples in ruins across Bharat. We call this project Mahabharat.

Shattered yet sacred.
Kakanmath Temple in Morena, MP, stands amid ruins of statues & shrines — traces of a vast temple complex lost to time and turmoil.
Every broken piece whispers a forgotten glory.
How long will we ignore such heritage?

Atala Masjid, Jaunpur—before it was a mosque, it was a grand Hindu temple complex.
Local traditions recall a Shakti or Vishnu shrine beneath its stones.
Its foundations outdate the Sharqi dynasty.
How many temples must vanish before truth is reclaimed?

After 833 years of captivity, time has come to reclaim the ancient temple now called Adhai Dhin Ka Jhonpra, Ajmer
Within the ancient temples captured by invaders, behind the sealed walls, our Deities are waiting to be worshipped again
This will decide the fate Hindu civilisation.

In 1670 CE, Aurangzeb razed the sacred Keshav Dev Mandir in Mathura. The Shahi Eidgah Mosque was erected atop its sanctum—using temple debris. Even today, Hindu pillars, motifs, and inverted kalash symbols silently tell the story.
How long will we look away?

The grand temple at Devagiri, built by the Yadava kings, echoed with Shaivite and Vaishnavite devotion. In 1327 CE, it was forcibly converted into the Jama Masjid by Muhammad bin Tughlaq.
Even today, the black basalt mandapas, Hindu pillars, and sanctum layout whisper a history buried under conquest.

In West Bengal stands Zafar Khan Ghazi Mosque — not built, but carved out of a desecrated Vishnu temple.

Evidence speaks louder than silence:
Temple pillars reused in prayer hall — some still bear Hindu motifs.
Brahmi script inscriptions found on stone
Defaced idols and fragments embedded within the structure
No original Islamic inscriptions from the time of alleged construction

Why does the ASI fail to acknowledge it, despite sufficient evidence at the site?

Based on Sita Ram Goel’s research, this mosque may stand atop an erased Hindu temple — yet there's no ASI tag, no public record, no acknowledgement.

🕉️ Where temple bells once rang, silence now reigns.
This isn’t just about history—it’s about truth buried under politics, and memory fading under neglect.

Built Over a Temple?
Commissioned by Tipu Sultan in 1787, this mosque stands on the ruins of a sacred Vaishnavite site. Temple-style granite, Hindu orientation, and architectural breaks reveal the buried truth.

What appears to be a Mughal-era monument hides a deeper, painful truth. Beneath its bricks lie the remains of Hindu temple structures — carved stones, reused foundations, and repurposed heritage.

The playful name “Lukochuri” (hide and seek) echoes irony — for here, what’s truly hidden is our history.

It’s time to Reclaim, not forget.
It’s time to preserve, not repurpose.

Did You Know?
The Lat Masjid in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, stands on the ruins of a grand 10th-century Hindu temple built during Raja Bhoja’s rule. Once adorned with mandapas, sanctums, and intricate carvings, it was later destroyed during Alauddin Khilji’s invasion.

Temple fragments were reused to build a mosque, but the massive Iron Lat (pillar)—a marvel of ancient metallurgy—remained untouched.

Sanskrit inscriptions, broken idols, and temple carvings still whisper the story of its sacred past.

Beneath the outer layer of this structure lies sacred memory — not just architecture but ancestral sanctity etched in stone.

What you see is not erasure, but a buried truth — of a Hindu temple transformed, its carvings still crying out from behind the plaster.

Restoring truth is not erasing history. It is reclaiming it with dignity.
This is not just about stones. It's about justice to our dharmic past.

🔴 As recorded in Maasir-i-Alamgiri

In 1670, Aurangzeb ordered the demolition of the Kesava Deo Mandir in Mathura. (Krishna Janmabhoommi)
A mosque today called as Shahi Idgah—was built over its ruins.
The murtis were taken to Agra and buried under a mosque stairway so they'd be trampled daily.

The Dargah of Bibi Kamalo in Gaya, Bihar stands where a sacred Hindu temple once echoed with bells and chants. The architecture has changed—but the soul of the site remembers.

The work of sacred kitchen of Cholakkara Durga temple in Malappuram has started. Offerings for Goddess Durga will be prepared here. The heavy monsoons are slowing down the work, however we hope to complete in two months.

Thanks for supporting. We are also planning to undertake boundary wall construction to secure the temple, now only base of boundary wall is done.

When worship was treated like a crime
The Martand Sun Temple in Kashmir - built with devotion, targeted with hate.
Sikandar Butshikan tried to demolish it for two full years...
and still, its pillars stand — silently telling the tale.

This ancient witness asks us today: Will we rise to reclaim what still remains?
