When is DEX better than CEX?

What determines the amount of staking reward?

🤨 This is a question that interests all stakeholders without exception.

☝️We remind you that staking is a way to generate income from a blockchain network that operates based on the Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus algorithm and its options, for example the Proof of Tsar protocol in Relictum Pro.

Thus, there are several factors influencing the amount of remuneration from the network:

🚩 Total income of the blockchain network. The system makes money on commissions: for exchanges and transfers of assets, for creating tokens, uploading files in storage, etc. Accordingly, the more of these operations, the greater the reward stakeholders will receive. This is the most significant factor.

🚩 Number of tokens in staking. Just like with a deposit in a bank, the more funds you deposit, the greater the reward you will receive, while the percentage of profit does not change.

🚩 Staking period. In the Relictum Staking you can stake for 1, 3, 6 and 12 months. Again, just like in the case of bank deposit in a bank, the longer the term, the higher the profitability.

🔵 We remind you that the Relictum ecosystem is going to introduce fees for token transfers, so the total income of the network will increase, and accruals to stakeholders will increase accordingly.

🔷 Liquid staking is also expected to be introduced in the near future, so the terms for rewards will significantly improve.

How many GTN tokens are there in circulation?

Why is it important?

🧐 Supply is one of the two main factors affecting the price of any cryptocurrency. Many crypto assets have a limited supply, for example, Bitcoin has a maximum supply of 21 million coins, Litecoin has a maximum supply of 84 million, and BNB has a maximum supply of 200 million. The number of native GTN tokens in the Relictum ecosystem is also limited.

🟣 The initial issue of GTN was 10 billion tokens. However, in September 2022, the project team decided to burn exactly half – 5 billion GTN.

🔥 Burning sessions have been held regularly and will be held regularly during two years. The first burning was held on September 15, 2022 – 2 billion GTN tokens, or 20% of the total emission were burned. Further burnings were and will be carried out quarterly - 375 million GTN tokens at once. The next session will take place on January 1, 2024, and the last one in this series will take place on July 1, 2024. Thus, by the Q2 2024, the total supply of GTN tokens will be brought to 5 billion units.

How to wrap tokens in Relictum Pro

🤨 Did you know that wrapped tokens rBTC, rETH, and eLTC are available to users? What are they for?

💵 A crypto asset cannot exist outside its native blockchain, so in order to use popular assets on other platforms, they invented wrapped tokens. A wrapped token is a “copy” of a crypto asset issued on another blockchain using the original coin as collateral.

Thus, wrapped R-tokens exist in the Relictum Pro network and “live” according to its rules. For example, transactions with rBTC and rETH are free of fees and occur instantly, unlike transactions on the Bitcoin and Ether networks.

How to wrap tokens in Relictum Pro?

🚩 Log in to your account in Relictum Node, select Swap at the bottom of the main window.

🚩 In the window that opens, indicate the asset you want to wrap (BTC, ETH, LTC) and the wrap amount. The transaction fee is indicated below.
