Fixing the Private Key Inactive Error

🤔 Many users faced this error and very often it ended with the loss of the account and all the funds on it. But the best way to deal with the Private Key Inactive error is to warn it. And we will tell you how to do it!

ℹ️ The Private Key Inactive error occurs when you try to enter your private key more than once. The private key is your unique alphanumeric code (232 characters), which you can use to log in to your account if you have forgotten your login and password, or to transfer your node, for example, to a new smartphone.

❗️ IMPORTANT! Your private key is one-time use only. If you used it once, it becomes inactive, so you need to generate a new one. You can learn how to do it in detail in our video instructions

To avoid the Private Key Inactive error:

🔘You must know for sure where your private key is. It can be stored in a file with the extension .pk, or a text file, or even written on paper. The best option is to store several copies in different places so that the breakdown or loss of one device does not lead to the loss of your key.
🔘If you do not know where your private key is, immediately generate a new one in your node and store it in the place where you can get it at any time. This will save you from potential problems in the future.

😊 Do you know where your private key is?

How to transfer node to another device

❓ Is your smartphone broken or lost, or do you want to replace it with a new one, or maybe you no longer want to work with the Relictum node on your smartphone, but do everything on your PC? You need to transfer your node to another device.

ℹ️ Your Relictum Pro account is tied to the device on which you installed the application and registered in the system, so simply downloading a new installation file and logging into your account with your username and password on another device will not work. You can transfer the node with your private key.

🗂 The procedure for transferring a node to another device

1️⃣ When creating an account in Relictum Pro, the application also creates a private key (a sequence of 232 letters and numbers), which must be saved either as a file in *.pk format, or as a text document, or written down on paper. This key is required to restore access and transfer your account to another device.

2️⃣ If you forget where your private key is, or it is lost, you must generate a new one. To do this, go to the “Settings” menu on the bottom panel of the node, then select “Export” and set a PIN code (required to decrypt the key, also must be saved or kept in mind).

3️⃣ Next, download the installation file on the new device (link), and after installation is complete, select “Import” (private key) in the authorization menu. Enter your PIN code and character sequence - the key, either by importing it from a file or by writing it manually from the keyboard.

✔️ If you did everything correctly, your node will be transferred to the new device, but it will be lost on the old one.

❗️ The private key is one-time use. If you have already used it, the key becomes inactive, and you need to immediately generate a new one. It is better to store several copies of this key in different places.

Relictum Pro – results of 2023

🤔 2023 was rather difficult for us, but at the same time quite productive. We have been going through a bear market for almost the entire year there were significant outflows from the industry as a whole. The interest in NFTs, metaverses and other products based on Web3 ecosystems has decreased significantly and this has affected all market players without exception.

👭 There were also some changes in our team. Like any other living organism, Relictum Pro time by time needs to update its personnel and we successfully carried it out in the past year, so now, having completed a rotation and gained new strength, we are ready to go to the new heights.

👍 We have done a lot of work over the year, some results are already visible now, while the others we will show you in the near future. So, here are our main achievements over the past year:

How to install a node on your PC

⌨ Node in a smartphone is fast and convenient, but sometimes you may need to install the application on a PC running Windows and MacOS. Here we will tell you how to do it

1️⃣ Download
Find the download files for your OS on the website in the "Downloads" section on the Relictum Pro site. There are installation files for Windows and MacOS there.

2️⃣ Installation
Run the downloaded installation file and follow the instructions in the program. If you have any problems installing the application on MacOS, here you will find detailed instructions: https://wiki.relictum.pro/faq/instructions/how-to-install-relictum-pro-node-on-macos

3️⃣ Account registration
After the installation is complete, launch the application. The sequence of actions for registering a new account on Windows OS is described here: https://wiki.relictum.pro/faq/instructions/how-to-create-an-account-in-a-relictum-pro-node-on-windows

ℹ️ If you already have a node on a smartphone, for example, and want to transfer it to your PC, after installing the application, transfer your active account using a private key. After that, the node on the smartphone will become inactive. Learn more about how to do it here: https://t.me/Relictum_Pro_Official/1439

IMPORTANT! When transferring a node, you use a private key. It is a one-time use only, so after you use it, the code becomes inactive, and a new one must be generated immediately. Remember that Relictum Pro is a decentralized Web3 ecosystem, so only the user has full control over the node, and the user is fully responsible for the safety of own funds, so do not forget about your private key. Your account can be restored or moved only with its help!
