What are Mainnet and Testnet?

Did you know that Relictum Node has two blockchains? When you launch the application, at the top of the screen, you can choose one of two options: “Mainnet” and “Testnet”. What are these?

🔃 Testnet is a full-fledged blockchain network that is used to test any innovation. This is where all new features undergo final debugging and testing before ending up on the main network. Also, it can be used to train beginners. Testnet operates as an exact copy of the main blockchain, and you can do everything here that you can do on the Mainnet, but every asset on Testnet is virtual.

🌐 Mainnet is a fully functional Relictum Pro blockchain network with real assets. All transactions here are real and recorded on the blockchain. This network is always active and accessible to all users. By default, you always use the real Mainnet, and Testnet is only used for testing new features or for training purposes to get newbies up to speed.

How to hide unnecessary tokens in your wallet

📝 Relictum Pro users have probably noticed that recently the number of assets in their wallets has increased significantly. This is due to the fact that rewards to stakeholders was paid not only in the USDR, but also in other currencies that are registered in our ecosystem. Typically, these assets are not listed on the DEX, so it is not yet possible to buy or sell them.

ℹ️ Therefore, in order to save yourself from scrolling through the list of 20+ positions every time in search of the right token, you can hide the assets you don’t need. It's not difficult to do this:

1️⃣ Log in to your wallet (Crypto section) in your Relictum Node account
2️⃣ At the top of the screen on the right there is a “Edit” button, click it.
3️⃣ Check the boxes next to those assets that will be displayed in your list (the rest will not be displayed) and click “Ready”.

✔️ That's it, now only those assets that are of interest to you are displayed in your wallet.

🔄 All operations on hidden tokens are carried out as usual, you can display all your funds again at any time.

Where to get GTN tokens?

🪙 This post is for beginners who are just mastering the Relictum Pro ecosystem and getting acquainted with its basic functions. So, where to get GTN tokens?

Currently, Relictum Pro users have two possible options:

1️⃣ On the decentralized exchange Relictum DEX. The process is described in detail here. To do this, you will need USDR stable tokens. This post describes in detail the process of purchasing them.

2️⃣ On the centralized exchange Lbank. You will find detailed step-by-step instructions on how to do this here.

Where to find the current GTN rate?

🔄 As you know, users can trade the GTN token on the Lbank exchange, or on the Relictum DEX exchange (the process is described in detail here), so, there are two exchange rates:

1️⃣ GTN exchange rate on the Lbank exchange you can find here. Lbank shows the price changes and you can immediately buy or sell GTNs. Besides, you can find the current token rate on this exchange in the Price GTN | Statistics section in our Telegram community, the data there is updated every 15 minutes. Besides this section contains statistics on sales volume, capitalization and other useful information.

2️⃣GTN exchange rate on the Relictum DEX exchange. To view the current rate, log into your account on Relictum Node, select DEX in the Products menu and then the GTN/USDR pair. Here you will find the current token price.

Important! Lbank exchange presents the GTN to USDT token exchange rate, while the Relictum DEX exchange provides the GTN to USDR rate.

About the Cosmos network and the benefits of creating a bridge to it

How Cosmos network works

💬 We are continuing a series of posts dedicated to the “Internet of Blockchains” — the Cosmos network, in order to familiarize you with this system and so that you can get the most out of it as soon as we complete our bridge to it. So, today we will talk about the architecture of this network and its components.

🌐 As you all know, Cosmos is a decentralized network (blockchain) that connects other independent networks (blockchains) to make them compatible with each other. The main components of the Cosmos Network include: a hub, zones and auxiliary systems that ensure their interaction.

🏬 Network architecture: Cosmos uses a hub and zones architecture. The Hub is the main blockchain (Cosmos Hub), and zones are independent blockchains connected to the Hub. Each Zone has its own consensus mechanism and application logic. The hub acts as a chain that connects different zones into a single system.

📱 Cosmos Hub: Cosmos Hub is the main blockchain on the Cosmos network. It serves as a central coordination point for the entire network, facilitating communication and transfer of assets between different zones.

📷 rCosmos sidechain (Zone) is a separate Relictum blockchain, which is connected to the parent Relictum Pro blockchain through a two-way binding. It allows you to functionally combine two directly incompatible blockchains. Two-way binding allows assets to be transferred between these networks.

🔃 Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC): IBC is a protocol designed to enable communication and transfer of assets and data between different blockchains in the Cosmos ecosystem. It ensures interoperability, allowing assets and information to move seamlessly between zones and the hub.
