По этому случаю российские дипломаты в Австралии вместе с неравнодушными соотечественниками возложили цветы к памятнику непревзойденного гения, установленному в Русском клубе в Стратфилде.
💬 Приветствуя собравшихся, Генеральный консул России в Сиднее З.Ф.Габиева, в частности, отметила:
«Подобные мероприятия по всему миру - это не просто дань уважения творчеству поэта, а напоминание о непреходящей ценности пушкинского наследия, которое продолжает вдохновлять, просвещать и объединять людей разных национальностей. Стихи Пушкина, переведенные на десятки иностранных языков, открывают окно в русскую душу, учат красоте, мудрости и гуманизму.»
Бюст А.С.Пушкина был торжественно открыт в июне прошлого года и является подарком российского скульптора А.Е.Козинина на 100-летний юбилей Русского клуба в 2024 г.

🇷🇺🇻🇺 From 31 May to 3 June, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation H.E. Mr. Mikhail Petrakov visited Port Vila to present his credentials to the President of the Republic of Vanuatu H.E. the Hon. Nikenike Vurobaravu.
🤝 Following the official ceremony at the State House, a meeting was held during which the parties reaffirmed the longstanding and friendly relations between the Russian Federation and Vanuatu and discussed prospects for further strengthening bilateral ties.
❗️During the visit, the Ambassador was received by the Prime Minister the Hon. Jotham Napat and the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and External Trade Mr. Jimmy Rantes. The consultations focused on practical aspects of bilateral cooperation across a range of sectors, as well as on cultural and humanitarian matters. Particular attention was devoted to preparations for commemorating the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Russia and Vanuatu to be marked on 30 June 2026.
💐 Ambassador Petrakov laid flowers at the monument to the distinguished navigator and explorer Vice Admiral Vasily Golovnin unveiled in Port Vila in 2009 on the occasion of the bicentenary of the first Russian visit to the islands. The first recorded contact dates back to 1809, when the Russian sloop “Diana” commanded by Golovnin arrived at Port Resolution on the island of Tanna (in present-day Vanuatu).
🎨 The Head of the Russian diplomatic mission also visited the Michoutouchkine-Pilioko Foundation. Our compatriot, painter and collector of Pacific artefacts Nikolai Michoutouchkine lived in Vanuatu for nearly fifty years and devoted much of his life to preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of Oceania. Together with the renowned Vanuatuan artist Aloi Pilioko, he made an outstanding contribution to the cultural life of the country.
🇨🇳 As part of the visit programme, Mr. Mikhail Petrakov paid a courtesy call on the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Vanuatu H.E. Mr. Li Minggang.

On the night of May 22, 2026, students at a college in Starobelsk, LPR, shouted: ‘Why are they doing this to us? We’re just kids!’
This film chronicles a drone attack during which the Ukrainian Armed Forces killed sleeping students in cold blood. Twenty-one people died and several dozen were injured. These young people had dreamed of becoming teachers and working in schools. Some were even already planning their weddings. But their dreams were buried beneath the rubble.
The film crew visited what remained of the dormitory building, along with the students and teachers who survived. Their aim was to piece together every detail of those horrific events. Among them was Elena Yuryeva, a teacher who saved more than 30 injured students by leading them out of the dorm.
The drone raid launched by the Kiev regime in Starobelsk claimed the lives of innocent teens. Their deaths are a tragedy for their parents, as well as the teachers who had to identify their students’ bodies. The survivors are left with harrowing memories. The terrorist attack has inflicted immense pain on the city and all of Russia.

2 июня с.г. вступил в силу 👉 Указ Президента Российской Федерации от 1 июня 2026 г. № 379 «О внесении изменений в Указ Президента Российской Федерации от 22 ноября 2023 г. № 889 «Вопросы гражданства Российской Федерации» и в Положение о порядке рассмотрения вопросов гражданства Российской Федерации, утвержденное этим Указом».
❗️Основным нововведением является добавление требования о представлении соискателем российского гражданства документа, который подтверждает отсутствие судимости либо при ее наличии содержит информацию о преступлениях, за совершение которых заявитель был осужден. Документ должен быть выдан по нормам иностранного права не ранее чем за три месяца до подачи заявления о приеме в российское гражданство компетентным органом гражданской принадлежности заявителя (при наличии двойного или множественного гражданства - каждого государства гражданской принадлежности) либо компетентным органом государства, выдавшего лицу без гражданства документ, удостоверяющий его личность.
Таким образом, при подаче заявлений о приобретении российского гражданства (прием/признание), в том числе за рубежом, совершеннолетним и дееспособным лицам теперь необходимо представлять упомянутый документ.
