📌 Shaykh Dr. ‘Abdullāh ibn Salfīq adh-Dhafīrī:
The shoulder ‘abāyah (عباءة الكتف) is not appropriate for the believing woman to wear as it shows the shape of the woman’s body. It’s not permissible for the man to allow anyone from his household (i.e. the womenfolk) to leave the house wearing a shoulder ‘abāyah.
What’s obligatory for them is to wear the overhead ‘abāyah (i.e. the full jilbāb - عباءة الرأس) which does not show the shape of the woman’s body nor displays her charm and adornment.

[Die Bida' ist schlimmer als die Sünde]
Baschār ibn Burd sagte zu Hilāl ibn Atijjah:
"Oh Hilāl, hörst du auf mich wenn ich dir ein Ratschlag erteile welcher speziell an dich gerichtet ist?"
Er sagte:
"Ja!"
So sagte er:
"Eine Zeit lang pflegtest du Esel zu klauen, danach hast du bereut und wurdest Rāfidi. Kehre zurück zum Esel klauen, denn bei Allāh es ist besser für dich als der Rafd."
(Wafajāt al-A'jān 1/425)
Anmerkung des Übersetzers:
Rafd bedeutet sprachlich gesehen etwas abzulehnen. Als eine Gruppe von Zaid ibn Ali verlangte sich von Abū Bakr und 'Umar loszusagen und er sich weigerte, wendeten sie sich von ihm ab und lehnten ihn ab. So nannte er sie danach Rāfidah. Diese Gruppe ist heute unter dem Namen Schia oder Schiiten bekannt.
