Scottish Churches join the battle against the Scottish Government tyranny!

Scottish Church leaders pursue legal action against Scottish Ministers.

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon on Jan. 8 (2021) made it a criminal offense in the highest level for churches to meet in-person!

Church officials explained that closing churches violates the European Convention of Human Rights law and the Scottish Constitution.

Scottish Ministers claim and asserted that ’The State’ can regulate the secular activities of Churches…for the purposes of protecting public health and that churches must “comply with secular law” and remain closed!

According to Christian Legal Centre, Scotland hasn’t attempted to close churches since the 17th century during the persecution of the Presbyterian church.

Scottish Ministers’ say they are making decisions based on “science”!

Show us the science then Scottish Government. No more deaths in 2020 than in previous years. Covid-19 has never been isolated! The flu has mysteriously just disappeared!

Police Scotland, under the orders of Scottish Government, again break up and disperse the free people of Scotland, exercising their fundamental lawful right, to peacefully assemble. Councillor Paddy Hogg, once again arrested and taken into Police custody, in Edinburgh yesterday. Are we the free people of Scotland, going to continue to allow our public servants in Police Scotland and Scottish Parliament, to continue to carry out these unlawful and unjustified actions?

27 Scottish Christian Ministers lead the fight on church Closures, and take Scottish Government to Court, TOMORROW, Thursday 11th March 2021..

Scottish Government and First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, have made it a CRIMINAL OFFENCE for churches to hold services in person, and to perform baptisms.

Church leaders asked the Scottish Government in January 2021 to review this, but Scottish Government refused. So the church have informed their legal team, to proceed with a Full Judicial Review. This will take place this Thursday 11th & Friday 12th March 2021.

Scottish Churches have long-established and traditional authority over their own affairs, FREE FROM STATE INTERFERENCE. This is enshrined in the 1592 Act, the 1706 Act for Securing Protestant Religion and the Church of Scotland Act 1921.

There has been no attempt to close churches in Scotland since the persecution of the Presbyterian church, instituted by the Stuart kings, in the 17th century.

Scottish MSP’s are claiming that the state should be allowed to “regulate the secular activities of Churches … for the purposes of protecting public health” and that churches are compelled to “comply with secular law” and therefore must remain closed.

Church leaders are asking people of faith to pray for this vitally important court case.
