On 20 September, we had a session with grade 1 and 2 on oral hygiene. We had invited Dr Arpita and Dr Astha from Dental roots to cover the topic. The students were shown two videos ,one on how to brush properly and second one was on tooth decay. The children enjoyed the animation film. They also practiced proper brushing on the dummy. It was a very informative and interactive session and the students enjoyed it a lot.
Scottish High International School fosters a culture of academic achievement, personal growth, and professional development. The Annual Social Science Exhibition, "Legacy of Bravery: A Tribute to the Unsung Heroes of our Nation," was held on September 28, 2024. The exhibition, presented by our talented Highlanders (Grades VI-XII), was to shed light on the extraordinary contributions of the unsung individuals who have greatly contributed to our Nation.
Students showcased models, charts, posters, cutouts, quizzes, games, and knowledge about unsung heroes of India's freedom struggle. The exhibition included depictions of the National War Memorial, historical events such as the Uprising of 1857, the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre, and recipients of the Param Vir Chakra. Students dressed up as leaders, presented a patriotic dance, and sang the melodious song- "Ae Watan, mere watan." The students' and teachers collaborative effort and hard work were evident, resulting in an impressive display that captivated the parents.

Scottish High International School pays a heartfelt tribute to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, whose unwavering commitment to truth and non-violence ignited the spirit of freedom and led our nation towards Independence. His timeless teachings continue to illuminate the path of peace and justice for generations to come.
We also salute Lal Bahadur Shastri, the second Prime Minister of India, whose dedication and visionary leadership played a pivotal role in shaping the destiny of our country. His contributions to the Indian Independence Movement and his slogan, "Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan," remain an enduring source of inspiration for a strong and self-reliant India.
On this occasion, let us renew our pledge to uphold the values of integrity, courage, and service to the nation, as taught by these two great leaders. 🇮🇳✨
