🔘 Mk

What does mk mean?

◻️Okay

Mk is a shortened way to say "Okay" that people typically use when they are unsure but still say want to answer in the affirmative. For example, if the girl you went on a date with once wants to introduce you to her parents, you might think it's too early, but you also don't want to appear rude, so you reply with, "mk."
You may mk in various contexts, but you'll most likely see it in messages (online and texts) and on social media, like Twitter, TikTok, and Snapchat. While most people use it to warily reply "yes" to a question or agree with someone, some people also use it in a condescending way to cast judgment. For example, one of your friends may send "mk" in a group message when another friend shares a risque outfit she is wearing to a barbecue.

❓Example
You gonna come over tonite?
mk, I guess I'll go
