🔘 SNERT

What does SNERT stand for in messages?

◻️Snot nosed egotistical rude teenager

SNERT is an acronym that describes a teenage jerk. People often use it when messaging about a rude adolescent.
For example, if you ride a subway and a teen plays loud music on a speaker, you may text your friend, "About to throw myself off this train unless this SNERT turns off his terrible music." Or, you might reminisce about how you were terrible to your school teachers in high school, "I remember how much of a SNERT I was to my teachers. They were saints to put up with me."
Before you get too critical of teens, remember that they are challenging years. After all, weren't we all like that at some point in our teenage years?

❓Example
That SNERT walks around like he owns the place
He needs to be humbled
His freshman year is going to be a rude awakening

🔘 Airdrop

What is a cryptocurrency airdrop?

◻️A cryptocurrency marketing event

A cryptocurrency airdrop is a giveaway of free crypto coins. Airdrops are often part of marketing events, in which users receive coins in exchange for promoting a new or up-and-coming cryptocurrency. The coins are sent directly to a user's cryptocurrency wallet, provided the user completes the airdrop's conditions.

Are cryptocurrency airdrops scams?

No and yes. No, in that many airdrops are legitimate promotions, and yes, in that some airdrops are pump-and-dump schemes in which the cryptocurrency's owners are attempting to inflate their coins' value before selling them. Other malicious airdrops ask users to provide their crypto wallet's private key, which gives access to the users' other cryptocurrency. So, before you engage in a crypto airdrop, make sure you do your DD.

❓Example
I'm so glad I hopped on that Dogecoin airdrop years ago. Now I just have to figure out when to sell

🔘 F4F

What does F4F mean on social media?

◻️Follow for follow

F4F means "follow for follow." It is used on Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram to tell other users that, if they follow you, you'll follow them back - ensuring that both your follower counts grow.
Because social media platforms boost posts made by people with large numbers of followers, many users attempt to gain followers however they can. F4Fing is a relatively mild and organic way of attempting to gain followers, as opposed to spamming hashtags in your posts or utilizing algorithms and bots to gain followers automagically.
If you want to let people know you'll follow them if they follow you, be sure to add the #F4F hashtag to your Twitter, TikTok, or Insta posts. If you want to look for users who will follow you if you follow them, you can search for others' use of the #F4F hashtag.

❓Example
RT if you need followers! I love you all! #F4F #FF
