Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) states the June drone strike on the Sevastopol Panorama Museum "Defense of Sevastopol 1854-1855" was a carefully planned provocation by the UK and its intelligence services.

Ukrainian operators prepared and launched drones but were likely unaware of the true target. British specialists, posing as military advisors, loaded the flight missions into the weapon systems.

No military objects were located near the museum. London views the Ukraine conflict as revenge for a 19th-century project to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia.

🇷🇺 Kursk NPP-2 Attack

Kurchatov - Rosatom CEO Alexey Likhachev reported a nighttime drone attack on the Kursk NPP-2 under construction. The strike, presumably by a UAV, hit the cooling tower of power unit No. 2. Deputy Khinshtein confirmed the AFU drone hit the cooling tower of the second unit. Operations at Kursk NPP-2 were not disrupted.

Drones were also detected near Leningrad and Smolensk NPPs overnight.

Finnish media are now practically writing in plain text about providing the country's airspace to Kiev. Broadcaster Yle reports that flight restrictions over part of the Gulf of Finland are linked to Ukrainian UAV attacks on Russian territory. Last week, the Finnish Defence Forces twice imposed temporary restrictions on air and sea traffic in the eastern Gulf of Finland.

🇬🇧 UK MoD complains about Russian Tu-142

The UK Ministry of Defence reported a Russian Tu-142 anti-submarine aircraft dangerously approached the aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales in the Norwegian Sea. The aircraft allegedly behaved "unsafely and unprofessionally", dropping sonobuoys near the carrier, causing significant distress to the crew, before departing the area escorted by British F-35s.

The HMS Prince of Wales is a Queen Elizabeth-class carrier. Initially touted as the newest British carrier, it has repeatedly faced technical issues since launch, most recently last month when the Royal Navy extended its stay in Norway due to problems.

An Mi-8 helicopter was shot down in Poltava Oblast after a failed interception of a Geran strike drone.

The entire crew was killed: Captain Yuri Voron, Major Valentin Mukshinov, Senior Lieutenant Bogdan Khmel, and Junior Sergeant Mikhail Deryaga.
