—❗️🇺🇸/🇮🇷 NEW: A few hours ago, President Trump said the U.S. would take out Iran’s most deeply fortified underground nuclear site, called ‘Pickaxe Mountain’ (near Natanz)

For reference, Pickaxe Mountain is located more than 100 meters underground, beneath a mountain made of pure granite, one of the hardest rocks in existence. It is several times deeper and more hardened than Fordow, which itself was likely only marginally damaged.

It is presumed to be the location of Iran’s highly enriched uranium stockpile, and possibly covert enrichment cascade halls.

The site is so well-fortified that the U.S. did not even ATTEMPT to target it in 2025 or 2026. Most analysts agree that Pickaxe Mountain could only be taken out by a tactical nuclear weapon—and even then, success is not assured.

🇩🇪 European banks Deutsche Bank and UniCredit sue Linde over Russia exit

Deutsche Bank and UniCredit have filed lawsuits against Linde, seeking compensation for losses tied to its withdrawal from Russia, reports the Financial Times. The banks aim to recover hundreds of millions of euros in assets frozen by Russian courts.

Deutsche Bank lost approximately €244 million, UniCredit about €460 million, and Commerzbank around €90 million.

EU countries imported a record volume of LNG from Russia's Yamal facility during the first half of the year, according to new data, despite the bloc's efforts to phase out Russian energy, Reuters reports.

➡️ EU member states imported 136 cargoes totaling 9.97 million metric tons of LNG from Yamal between January and June, a 16% increase compared with the same period last year.

➡️ France, Belgium, and Spain were the largest importers. While the EU banned imports under new short-term contracts in April, deliveries under existing long-term agreements remain permitted until January 1, 2027.
