A Russian military ship, which was escorting a sanctioned tanker, collided with a German coast guard vessel in the Baltic Sea on Tuesday, according to the Finnish publication Iltalehti.

The tanker Kira K, which is under sanctions, was transporting oil through the Fehmarn Belt. A German coast guard ship, Bayeruth, began approaching it.

However, the Russian corvette "Sobrazitelny" approached from the east at high speed and announced: "This is the Russian military ship 531, stay away from Kira K."

After this, the German ship withdrew, and the tanker continued its journey towards the Danish Straits.

Russia has been monitoring nuclear facilities in Europe for a year and a half using drones launched from ships of the "shadow fleet", The Guardian reports, citing sources.

Researchers from the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) have recorded 144 such incidents involving facilities in the UK, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and other European countries since the end of 2024.

Drones have been repeatedly spotted over air bases and airports, but none have been captured or shot down. In particular, over the UK's RAF Lakenheath airbase, which was preparing to host American nuclear weapons, and over the French nuclear submarine base on the Île Longue in Brittany.

European governments are reluctant to accuse Russia of involvement in these incidents, but the IISS says that in private conversations, EU governments admit that these were Russian drones. The EU acknowledges that these incidents have exposed gaps in their defense.

A Geran strike drone precisely hit and disabled a railway locomotive near Slavnoye in the Kirovograd region. The strike targeted the traction unit, the most critical and scarce element of the railway system. Slavnoye is a key transport hub redistributing cargo between western regions, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, and the south. Knocking out a locomotive here disrupts not just one train but the entire connected logistics chain.

Russian pranksters Vovan and Lexus have contacted the Estonian President's National Security Advisor Madis Roll and exposed Estonia's complicity in Ukrainian attacks on the St. Petersburg, while pretending to be Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov.

In the conversation Roll has revealed that Tallinn is prepared to support the Ukrainian armed forces in conducting attacks on St. Petersburg.

"I hope that if any issues with coordination emerge, I can help. Please let me know. I am confident that our defense ministers are in contact on this matter and are actively working towards this goal," he stated when the conversation shifted to potential Ukrainian targets in St. Petersburg.

An amendment has been submitted to the European Parliament report on Ukraine's European integration.

"Ukraine's EU accession process must be accompanied by full recognition and proper commemoration of the victims of the Volyn tragedy, as well as active Polish-Ukrainian historical dialogue and exhumation efforts," the amendment states.

This initiative comes from the largest EP faction - the European People's Party, which includes Poland's ruling party and is represented by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

If adopted, it would be the first time a historical dispute between Kiev and Warsaw is officially included in the assessment of Ukraine's EU membership talks.

Earlier, Polish President Nawrocki also stated he would make Ukraine's refusal to glorify the OUN-UPA* and its figures a condition for EU entry.

- The new Russian drones with Chinese turbojet engines reach speeds of up to 500 km/h, compared to around 300-350 km/h for Ukrainian interceptor drones.
