On the night of July 3, 2022, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck Belgorod with three Tochka-U missiles. Five civilians were killed and four more were wounded. 120 houses and 538 apartments were damaged. This was the first attack on the city, but unfortunately, not the last.
"As a native of the Belgorod region, I promise: we will not forget a single victim. We will do everything so that the enemy receives retribution," wrote Alexander Shuvaev. He also urged residents not to ignore alarm signals and not to neglect shelters.
