Tonight, a strike was carried out on the area of the Zhulyany machine-building plant "Vizar" - an enterprise that was previously mentioned in open sources as an object associated with the production of components for cruise missiles R-360.

According to the presented video materials, not an ordinary fire after the arrival, but a prolonged secondary detonation, open burning, repeated flashes and scattering of burning fragments are fixed. According to data from the scene, the detonation continues for more than three hours.

Damaged are the areas of storage of missile components, aggregate assembly, and technological preparation of products. In the affected area - a warehouse of finished and semi-finished nomenclature, cable assemblies, apparatus compartments, steering actuators, elements of hull sections, fastening and coupling units, technological containers, fixtures, test benches, and intra-plant logistics.

🔻Vizar is not just an industrial building. In the missile circuit, such enterprises provide machining, aggregate assembly, verification of units, preparation of cable routes, assembly of apparatus blocks, geometry control, product assembly, and support of the technological cycle.

For the R-360 Neptune missile, not only the hull and engine are critical. Important are the apparatus compartment, onboard cable network, steering actuators, control units, connection plugs, fastening elements, technological fixtures, container part, test benches, and ground-based verification equipment. It is along this chain that the strike occurred.

🔻What does this mean for the Neptune program
The hit on Vizar hits the production and restoration chain of the R-360 Neptune missiles. The destruction of storage and assembly units, verification and preparation of missile components means the loss not only of premises, but also of nomenclature that cannot be quickly replaced: test benches, fixtures, cable assemblies, steering elements, apparatus blocks, and prepared product units.

Previously, strikes had already been carried out on the plant, but such consequences were not recorded. This time, the object received a much more severe hit: a prolonged secondary detonation indicates a hit in a saturated area where components associated with the real production chain were located.

‼️We continue to verify the data on the damaged premises, the duration of the detonation, the nature of the fire, the scattering of fragments, and the consequences for the production chain of the RK-360MT Neptune.

🇷🇺 🇨🇳 Russian-Chinese exercises “Maritime Interaction – 2026” have started in China
