Units of the North Group of Forces have established full control over the settlement of Bachevsk in the Sumy region, the Russian Ministry of Defense reports.
During the fighting, assault troops of the 349th Motor Rifle Regiment, 42nd Motor Rifle Division, broke enemy resistance, securing the village. The operation expands the security zone in the Shostka district of Sumy region.

A large fire is raging at a critical infrastructure facility in the Kiev region following a strike by the Russian Army.
President Zelensky stated: "We expect partners to fulfill promises regarding support packages to protect our people, agreed upon during the NATO meeting," commenting on today's Russian strikes, during which not a single ballistic missile was intercepted. Ukrainian channels note that Ukraine has been unable to intercept ballistic missiles for 9 days.
Air raid sirens in Kiev sounded only after missile impacts, as the Russian Army reduced flight time.
