🇷🇺 Russian Forces Liberate Bachevsk in Sumy Oblast

Russian forces have established control over the settlement of Bachevsk in Sumy Oblast, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

On the night of July 11, Russian forces launched group strikes using high-precision long-range ground- and air-based weapons and attack UAVs. One strike hit the port of Yuzhny, and another targeted an enterprise in Kiev assembling Fire Point-2 UAVs.

The strikes confirmed Russia's capability to hit any targets of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

A trade chamber presidential advisor and her son are suspected of extorting €100,000 from a combat drone producer.

According to the SBU, the money was demanded for a positive chamber conclusion confirming force majeure after the warehouse was destroyed by a Russian airstrike, helping avoid penalties for a breached defense contract.

The intermediary was caught receiving €50,000. Both suspects have been charged and remanded in custody.

Over the day, as a result of Ukrainian drone attacks in the DPR, one person was killed and 15 civilians were wounded, Pushilin reported.

The largest number of casualties was in the Starobeshevo district: near Starobeshevo, a drone attacked a Novy Svet - Donetsk bus, wounding 9 passengers.

In the Mangush district on the Urzuf - Yalta road, a strike drone hit a truck, killing the driver born in 1962.

Residents of Donetsk, Makeevka, Khartsyzsk, Debaltsevo, Shakhtersk, and Amvrosievka districts were wounded. Damage to 2 houses, 5 infrastructure sites, and vehicles across multiple districts.
