🇴🇲🇮🇷 Oman proposes splitting Strait of Hormuz shipping into two routes

During talks with Iran in Muscat, Oman presented a draft agreement envisaging the creation of two separate shipping lanes in the Strait of Hormuz, Reuters reports.

The southern route would pass through Oman’s territorial waters, with commercial vessels able to use it freely and without additional restrictions.

The northern corridor is proposed to run through Iran’s territorial waters, requiring prior coordination with Tehran, though the draft does not provide for any fees.

However, the United States continues to press Iran for public guarantees of maritime safety and the opening of all routes in the Strait of Hormuz without any charges.

It is claimed that the American facility in Kuwait was attacked by Iran in retaliation for the nighttime strikes on the Islamic Republic. A number of sources assert that the strike was not carried out directly, but by proxy groups in Iraq.

I would love nothing more than to be able to confirm Lindsay Graham was killed in a Russian missile strike - but I can't do that.

The speculation about this scenario hinges on the assumption that there wasn't enough time for him to have arrived home several hours before his death around 8:30PM on Saturday, 11th July. This assumption is false.

The total travel time for Graham from Kiev to his home in Washington DC including the 6-9 hour train or motorcade trip to the Polish border, followed by the 9-10 hour direct flight would have taken 15-20 hours. Graham's activities in Kiev concluded on Friday, 10 July. That included meeting Zelensky, visiting the Skyfall drone production facility, and conducting his final meeting with the press (pictured) during which he announced new sanctions.

He could very well have departed Kiev on Friday evening or during the night, and with the 7 hour time zone difference, very easily have arrived in Washington by mid-afternoon on Saturday, on time to meet his maker at the reported location and hour.

As much as Lindsay Graham may have deserved a violent end, it appears to me he met a natural death.
