Trade Deal Stuck Between India and the USA
Trump imposed a 25% tariff on India.
My Views
The USA demanded that India open its market to American agriculture and dairy products, which would have negatively impacted Indian farmers specially their Genetically modified (GM) agro products. India, therefore, firmly refused.
The failure to finalize a trade deal also disproves Trump’s earlier claim that he stopped an India-Pakistan war in order to secure trade.
This tariff is unlikely to significantly impact the Indian economy, as Indian economy is primarily driven by domestic consumption. While there may be some short-term volatility in the Indian stock market, it will likely be seen as a "buy on dips" opportunity. The trade deal has been deferred, not cancelled, negotiations will continue.
Had Rahul Gandhi been Prime Minister, he might have bowed to pressure from U.S. agro-MNCs. But I am proud of my PM, @narendramodi, for standing firm and not allowing access to India's agricultural market for American corporations.

आशा है सरकार इसे “राजनीति” के लेंस से आगे बढ़कर राष्ट्र सुरक्षा के लेंस देख रही होगी। अगर नहीं तो फिर ईश्वर ही रक्षा करेंगे…

Why India Stopped Operation Sindoor on 10th May
This is the latest narrative pushed by the Congress ecosystem after being exposed by the Air Chief Marshal. Although Congress knows the answer very well, it is, as usual, trying to downplay the achievements of Operation Sindoor. So, let’s bust this Congress agenda too.
Here’s the Answer:
Operation Sindoor began on May 6th and ended on May 10th.

Every day, the Indian press secretary repeated the same line: “Our operation is non-escalatory.”
