Stock Market open on 1st Feb 2025 The Indian stock markets, typically closed on weekends, will remain open for trading on Saturday, February 1, 2025. This special arrangement coincides with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s presentation of the Union Budget 2025.
The decision to keep the markets open on a Saturday is not for the first time. In the past, the stock markets were operational on Saturdays, such as February 1, 2020, and February 28, 2015, when the Union Budgets were also presented on weekends.
