DP World will build two terminals in the UAE to bypass the Strait of Hormuz. The Emirati port operator has agreed to develop two new deep-water terminals on the UAE’s eastern coast. This will provide direct routes for global trade without requiring ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. Construction is expected to take place in several phases and will take up to 30 months.
