Senthamil’s path to clearing SEBI Grade A is a wonderfully relatable story about betting on yourself and embracing your own strengths. Like many engineers, he spent a couple of years working a stable IT job at Infosys, but his real passion was economics, a subject he had completely fallen in love with during an earlier attempt at the UPSC exam. Knowing his own strengths, he realized he was much better at analytical problem-solving than writing long essays, making SEBI a much better fit for him than RBI.

In late 2023, he took a massive leap of faith, quit his comfortable corporate job, and dove into full-time preparation. It wasn't always smooth sailing; he had to deal with the intense anxiety of delayed exam notifications and the exhausting trap of trying to perfectly master every unfamiliar commerce topic. But once he let go of that perfectionism, focused on just making consistent daily progress, and leaned on the right mentors for guidance, everything finally clicked.

It’s an inspiring reminder that you don't need a finance background to crack this exam; you just need the courage to try and the right strategy to keep going.
